The Old Granary is a beautifully converted farm building which manages to be rustic but also warm & cosy at the same time. The modernisation is brilliant with underfloor heating and thermostats throughout , so you're never cold. There are three large bedrooms and the mattresses, sheets and pillows were all super comfortable. Best of all, the big light & warm lounge / kitchen area was jus the perfect place to lounge about in on holiday. They have everything you need and we especially loved the big dining room table which was great for games and arts&crafts and, of course, eating lovely evening meals.
The location is perfect: sea views from the building itself then it's only a10 min walk to a very cool pub - the Druidston Hotel - and follow the track for another 10 mins and you're at a wonderful sheltered beach. We swam without wetsuits in late October! We also hung out at the beach for hours because it's very sheltered from the wind - perfect for kids.
The Old Granary was one of the very best things about our holiday because it felt luxurious but also like we were definitely in the middle of the country. The other big highlight was the horse riding we did with our five year old daughter at the nearby stables. Hosts Kate and Luke have all the local info you could ever want.
Oh yeah, and a lovely shower.

A fantastic week in an excellent location and accommodation
We visited Pembrokeshire during the week of 8 August. Myself, my wife, two adult daughters, 8 year old granddaughter and young border collie. We found the old granary through a Trip advisor search and were drawn to the photographs of the views and the location.
We were not disappointed with our choice, The granary is accessed down a narrow country lane with a few lumps and bumps but nothing to worry about. The accommodation is very well presented with plenty of space, all 3 bedrooms are generous and the living space has all the facilities to make the holiday stress free. There are slate floors throughout and the patio reached through a set of double doors from the living area is the icing on the cake, the views across St Brides bay were fantastic. We were treated to a number of wonderful sunsets at the end of busy days visiting beaches throughout the area. The garden has a grassed area where our dog was able to run around chasing his toys. In an adjacent field is the camping site and a touring caravan area. Both facilities have no impact on the Old Granary and the site is a very peaceful area. Clear nights provided excellent star gazing opportunities (especially if you are used to living in the city and the light pollution experienced there).
The local Druidston beach is a short walk away down a bridle path outside the front door a short walk along a narrow country road and then the choice of some steps from the Druidston hotel (less than 10 minutes away) or via a gravel path. This beach is large and when the tide is out the rock pooling is excellent. The beach is used by Nolton stables for horse riding excursions when the tide is out, but the beach is large enough for it not to be a bother.
The coastal path is at the end of the bridle way and provides excellent views and walks in either direction with the coastal puffin bus to get you back to you where you started at the far end of the bridleway.
Nearby Newgale beach (15 minute drive away) is excellent for body boarding and surfing. The south Pembrokeshire beaches are about 40 minutes away but well worth the visit, especially Freshwater West, Broadhaven South and Barafundle, the latter two beaches are National Trust locations and paying for parking at one gives you parking at the other with no further charge should you wish to visit two beaches in one day. St Davids is less than 30 minutes drive away. Haverfordwest is a 15 minute drive away where Morrisons and Tesco are available for your weeks provisions.
Kate and Luke who own the site are very friendly and welcoming, on our arrival a burst water main further up the road had left the area without any water and they were very accommodating providing a 5lt bottle of water for drinks to tide us over until the water board had fixed the problems. (The welsh cakes were also very welcome)
A very good relaxing week with some excellent weather and a wonderful base to return to each day.

A beautiful spot to watch the sun set
Enjoyed our stay in this comfortable and well equipped cottage with beautiful views over St Brides bay. The dogs enjoyed a morning walk along the nearby coastal path and a swim in the sea on Druidston beach which is only about twenty minutes walk away.The location is great for walks from the door to Broad Haven or Nolton Haven and also for visiting other stunning beaches in the area such as Musselwick Sands and Marloes sands. Plenty of room for all your stuff and the two bathrooms make this an ideal cottage for two couples or couples on holiday with grandparents and children.

Stunning location
Amazing views from this lovely cottage. The lack of dusting and cobweb removal, together with some shabby furnishings does let this property down, especially for the price paid. However, the location makes up for it.

Perfect, relaxing home by the sea
The Old Granary has everything you need for a relaxing week by the sea. The kitchen is well equipped and log burner (with endless supply of logs) and underfloor heating make for a very cosy retreat. The rooms are all a great size - more than enough space for 4 adults, 2 children & a baby. The location is perfect with amazing views towards St Davids and great sunsets, and a short walk to the Druidstone hotel/pub and beach. Thanks again for a lovely stay, we'll be back!

Welcoming, just the ticket for a week of relaxation. Beach and pub within 10mins walk.
The cottage is a great size and does not feel cramped at all. Lots of space for the 5 of us and our little dog too. Owners very accommodating with logs ready and waiting, and all beds made up etc. beach and pub only a 10min walk away down a green lane. Views are exceptional and it really is a very peaceful location. Would definitely come here again as the area has lots to do for all ages.

Just perfect
The Old Granary is exceptionally well presented and well equipped, very clean throughout and in an idyllic location with spectacular views. The website pictures don't really do it justice. The owner lives next door, she's lovely - helpful but not intrusive. We will definitely return.

Simply the Finest
The finest coastal panoramic views just for you; a perfectly peaceful setting with birds gliding and beasts lowing; a tastefully furnished cottage with excellent beds; an efficient modern kitchen and plenty of room for dining.
Generous luxury washing facilities; a very large terrace to watch the fabulous sunsets and comfortable sofa + armchairs around the log burner indoors with TV, radio or music.
Parking by the entrance. Warm and well insulated, all one level - no stairs. Before reaching the house, the track has a 20m stretch of the worst potholes in the West : enjoy -you will remember and yearn to return !

Amazing!
Not sure where to start. We stayed at the Old Granary for a week with our two young children (both under 5). The cottage is the most child friendly place we've stayed at, but would have been just as comfortable if it had been just me & hubby. The sea views are literally what you see in the photos. I don't normally like cooking whilst on holiday as I do it all the time, but it was too lovely not to have something at the cottage and sit out on the terrace. There is a campsite next door, but you never feel on top of them and there was barely any noise. In fact it was lovely sitting on the terrace, watching the sunset, smelling the campfires then going inside once it got a bit too chilly. We had a lovely, relaxing week and can't recommend this place highly enough.

Just Perfect
What can i say, the Old Granary is fantastic. Tastefully done, clean and comfortable, excellent facilities. After two days we felt like we had been on holiday for a week!
A short walk to the Druidstone bar and beach, the perfect spot!
We stayed with friends for a few days before our wedding at the Druidstone, and i was great.
Kate and Luke were very helpful and friendly.
