Again perfect

We've been there for the second time and everything was again more than perfect. House, location, everything. Angela is the best. Thank you very much for wonderful holiday!

Brilliant Find

Fantastic house super host Angela very big beds and great mattresses so very comfortable it was like home from home for comfort all the mod cons for cooking great view lovely and cosy if weather is bad Angela couldn't have been more helpful with advice of where to eat etc . Lovely view from the house i would definitely stay again plenty to do in the locality

Kind host, great house in a beautiful location

You couldn’t ask for a more perfect holiday home to relax in the Ring of Kerry. Everything needed in the house for comfort and more, including little extras left by Angela and her sister to make the place homely (including snacks for the first night - coffee pods, bread, milk, jam and wine etc 😉 ). Quiet, warm, comfortable, equipped, tastefully decorated, clean, light and spacious. The location is off the main road, so quiet and able to appreciate amazing views all the way to the skelligs. Watching all the different types of weather roll in makes any time spent in the house enjoyable whatever the conditions outside! And it’s close to whatever you need on either side of the peninsula. A great base for both beaches and the mountains, plus all the interesting cultural and historical sites to see. Thanks Angela! Hoping to be back another year.

Superb house with stunning views of Skellig Michael perfect holiday home

This house was so great, you couldn't ask for a better house, it was so lovely and had everything you need, scenic views from kitchen, living room and master bedroom. The views of Skellig Michael will stay with me for a long time. It's a great base for a week or two to explore the Ring of Kerry. Lovely walks along the lane with beautiful flowers, I cannot recommend this house/location highly enough. Angela the owner was so helpful and kind. So lucky to have stayed here.

The best holiday we have had

We 7, over three generations, agreed, our week in ‘Angela’s house’ was possibly the best holiday we have had in Ireland. The house lacks nothing; spacious, bright, spotless and Angela ensured new arrivals have all the things you might forget. We spend lots of time in the kitchen and it has everything, and a bit more, you can possibly need. Towns nearby are all worth visiting. We love Sneem snd Kenmare but others are very worthwhile. Special visits recommended are to the SkelligSix18 distillery (gin ) and Skellig Chocolates. Both were hugely popular, and tasty! Even the weather was welcoming. Bright, sunny and warm. Plenty of beaches, but our favourite is the one close by. When the tide moves out there is a flat sandy beach with welcoming and safe waves. Walkers are spoilt for choice; from the Kerry Way to local walks with spectacular views. All of this will remain in our memory for a long time. Remaining for ever in our minds is the truly amazing view of Skellig Michael. Right there in the middle of the vista looking out to the ocean. A view we all enjoyed from waking to late at night. A beautiful hideaway in scenic Waterville

We had a fabulous week last summer at Torann na dTonn and can’t wait to return. If you’re looking to really get away from it all you will love it here. Angela is a fantastic host, really spoiling us with lots of treats in the fridge on our arrival. A Beautifully clean and cared for home, we curled up by the fire at night and each morning opened our curtains to the ocean. Beautiful beaches close by and lovely place to really relax. We brought our family dog with us who loved running on the beach and snoozing the evenings away by the fire.. It was hard to leave. Thanks again Angela, Meabh and family

Special Holiday in beautiful house

Beautiful house overlooking sea. Fantastic views and sunsets. Plenty of walks in area and great base to explore area. House had every thing you could need. More than enought space for 6 adults in our party Angela was a great host and her welcome package was appreciated. House was well stocked with all the kitchen and bathroom essentials. Spent a lovely week enjoying house, location and area. Hope to get back again

This really is "Kerry's Hidden Gem"

I cannot speak highly enough of the owner Angela, her wonderful home and this spectacular beautiful Location.This has everything going for it for all ages. Children have the quiet private beach in Lohar or Derrynane and Waterville, a few miles out the road. Teenage Sons were entertained with Watersports, Horse riding and climbing the many hills and Mountains that surround this home. My daughter and Myself enjoyed long walks around Lohar (highly recommended) the photos that we took their alone will be mounted and framed, it is like a different world and one to cherish. Coming back at the end of the day and taking in the stunning views surrounding this home. Amazing!! Angela, had been so kind with her welcome fresh brown bread and other groceries to help us on our first nights stay and will give you an abundance of information around the area. So helpful. Thank you Angela! The home itself is one I would love for myself and well equip with everything needed and more. Beautiful stone work inside and out and wait till you see the view from the vast windows in the sittingroom, Kitchen and Bedrooms. I will most definitely be returning!

Wonderful house and area, views were spectacular. Right on the beautiful Ring Of Kerry, with quiet beach nearby and 10 mins drive to Waterville. beautiful surrounding scenery by car or foot . Excellent property and perfect for a staycation break away from it all. Angela was very helpful and had some great local tips . Would love to go back again to this Kerry Jewel. Thanks Again Angela .

Perfect holiday house

We have just returned from a fabulous week in this beautiful house overlooking the sea with spectacular views towards the skelligs.The house is really spacious and bright,spotlessly clean ,so well equipped with nespresso machine,dishwasher,beach towels and Galway crystal wine glasses!Angela left a welcome pack including lovely wheaten loaf from Centra in Waterville.The beach near the house is ideal for swimming and not crowded.We had a lovely night toasting marshmallows on the beach.There is a 5k loop walk around the house with sea view that passes an ancient Fort.We picked up the Kerry way walk behind the house and walked approximately 8 miles to Cahirdaniel via Derrynane.Had a well earned Guinness and food in The Blind Piper and got a lift home with the local taxi ,Gerry.The 13 year olds enjoyed the walk too! Derrynane beach is really amazing however getting parked is a nightmare.We definitely will be back but for 2 weeks next time!
