Das wunderschön gestaltete Riad war ein Traum aus 1001 Nacht. Die Inneneinrichtung ist äußerst geschmackvoll, stilistisch perfekt und mit viel Liebe zum Detail entworfen. Die Lage war zentral und doch sehr ruhig und erholsam. Sobald man in das Riad eintrat war es wie in einer Oase im hektischen Marrakech. Der Service der gesamten Crew war ebenfalls perfekt. Wir wurden zuverlässig und pünktlich vom Flughafen abgeholt und mit leckerem Minztee und Nüssen empfangen. Abends haben wir ein tolles Abendessen auf der großen Dachterrasse serviert bekommen. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt in dieser Oase geliebt und danken Pierre und seinem Team für die königliche Gastfreundschaft. Es war alles wunderbar. Wir können das Riad nur empfehlen. Es ist wie ein kleines Stück Zuhause in einem fremden Land. Wir werden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen.

Nous sommes venues ma meilleure amie et moi dans ce lieu magique pour une petite semaine après une année un peu difficile et ce fut un réel enchantement... Nous nous sommes senties princesses et extrêmement chouchoutées du début à la fin... Tout fut parfait : de l'accueil à l’aéroport :) au départ vers l'aéroport :(... Le lieu est magique, les attentions sont partout, la terrasse est féérique.... Un grand grand merci à tous : nos gouvernantes petites fées et si bonnes cuisinières avec une mention spéciale à Zined, Ahmed et ses bougies et arrosages, notre chauffeur mohamed qui nous a fait découvrir cette jolie vallée de l'Ourika. Sans oublier "Monsieur Pierre" qui fut aux petits soins.... (mention spéciale pour l'intermède "Spa" au Kosy spa) Je suis souvent venue à Marrakech, mais cette fois ci fut vraiment extraordinaire. Comme d'iraient mes enfants, nous avons "kiffés" du début à la fin.... On reviendra, c'est sûr !!!

Fuimos un grupo de 4 amigas y fue fantástico tener el riad para nosotras solas. Es muy bonito, tal y como aparece en las fotos. y el personal que lo atiende es muy amable. Los colchones son buenos, tiene wifi, aire acondicionado, desayuno en la terraza y puedes encargar las comidas. Además está muy cerca de la plaza Jamaa El Fna y es muy fácil llegar a el sin miedo a perderse entre los callejones de la medina, El propietario está siempre en contacto con el huésped y te ofrece excursiones o tours muy interesantes. Un lugar recomendable.

Pierre and his staff took care of all our needs from a delicious breakfast every morning to transportation, arranging excursions, etc. The riad is also a great peaceful retreat at the end of a day full of sights and sounds. The is a great location in the center of the bustling Medina, a short walk from the Jemaa-El-Fna square. Highly recommended.

We enjoyed our stay at this ideally located Riad. All the facilities were as described. Pierre, Fatima and Ahmed were excellent hosts. Note there is no washing machine here so we had to wash and dry clothes by hand which was not a big problem in August. Pierre did send lots of information by email but I would recommend Pierre to produce a welcome information pack. I would recommend this Riad and would consider staying here again. Thank You.

Merci à Pierre pour ce merveilleux moment passé à Marrakech. Avant de partir, un premier contact très sympathique,. Les conseils de Pierre sont très précieux. Arrivée à l'aéroport, un taxi vient nous chercher(réserver pour nous à l'avance) et nous emmène au riad, ou nous sommes accueillis par Zohra une cuisinière hors pair qui fait tout pour rendre votre séjour agréable. Le riad est idéalement situé, très propre et agréable, un havre de paix. Et n'hésitez pas à appeler Pierre lors de votre séjour si vous avez besoin de conseils.

Un Riad typique, très bien situé, avec beaucoup de charme. Et surtout une équipe très compétente, sympathique et attentionnée pour nous recevoir et rendre le séjour magique! Merci en particulier à Fatima et Zorha pour leur attentions et délicieux petits-déjeuners et repas (somptueuses tagines!!)

We have just spent 24 amazing days staying in this beautiful riad in Marrakesh. We found it to be very clean, spacious and well maintained, and extremely comfortable for the two of us. It was authentically decorated Moroccan-style including fittings, cushions, mats, paintings, lamps, tea-light lanterns, oil burners. The bathroom was equipped with top quality soaps and shampoos which were purchased from les Sens de Marrakech, a nearby shop. The burner oils in other parts of the riad were also obtained at this shop. The kitchenette was small but serviceable with a working gas stove-top and fridge. Pots and pans and cooking utensils were provided. Should you choose to cook some meals for yourself, water needs to be boiled to wash your dishes. After a day out and about, having the fire lit and the lights on was welcoming at the end of the day. The staff were very professional. Pierre was thoughtful, helpful and quick to respond to emails either by phone or email. We found him to be very reliable and trustworthy and appreciated his attention to detail. Fatima, Zohra and Ahmed were the team who were working on site. They were friendly, helpful and considerate. Fatima and Zohra were both excellent cooks and each day supplied us with lovely breakfasts of fresh orange juice, yoghurt, fresh fruit, eggs (hard-boiled, fried or herb omelettes), strong coffee, sometimes Moroccan mint tea, soft triangle cheeses, jams and breads - one or two of these varieties: khobz - white and wholemeal, beghrir, msemen and croissants. When the weather was warm, we ate breakfast on the terrace; otherwise we sat at a table on the ground floor. Fatima and Zohra's dinners were also delicious. Fatima taught me how to cook tagine and couscous. I appreciated her taking this time. As a guest, being able to speak some French or Arabic would be very helpful for ease of communication. We have had a wonderful Marrakesh adventure with many highlights. Staying in this riad in such a central and exciting location was an excellent decision. Should we return to Marrakesh, we definitely would stay here again.

Our stay in Dar Yaoumi was excellent, beginning with the airport transfer organized by Pierre. We arrived late in the evening but our driver waited patiently at the airport even after a flight delay and long processing at the airport. He drove safely and quickly to the meeting point where were met by Ahmed who assisted with luggage and led us through the Medina to the riad. Ahmed then served us mint tea and Moroccan sweets and walked us through the house explaining the amenities. Over the next few nights Ahmed returned promptly in the evenings to light fires in the salon and candles and make sure all was well). At the end of a long journey we were pleased to find such a spacious, spotlessly clean and tastefully decorated riad. The next morning we were met by Zohra and Fatima, the excellent housekeeping staff who cooked, cleaned and cared for us during our stay. Fatima's cooking was superb and creative especially at dinners, and it was deliightful to eat breakfast on the terrace on warmer mornings. I strongly advise having Fatima cook during your stay... her three course dinners,which centred around a variety of beef, chicken, lamb and fish tagines, tangia and kebabs, were better and more economical than most food we ate in the medina. We are still talking about these meals after returning from Morocco. Fatima and Zohra also went beyond their required duties by giving valuable advice on the costs and processes of purchasing certain souvenirs we wanted, and Fatima even went to purchase some of these things on our behalf. I appreciated the thoughtfulness extended towards guest that was evident in small details--for example, we were provided a local mobile phone programmed with numbers of Pierre and his team so that we could call if we were out of the house and got into difficulties, and Pierre checked in on us at breakfast the day after we arrived to make sure all was well.Dar Yaoumi's team is excellent... Very efficient, courteous and welcoming. We strongly recommend the riad, and would definitely return when we visit Marrakech again. Other things to note: Pierre can arrange day trips or transfers to nearby places such as Essaouria. 2)The staff are most comfortable with French but will make efforts to communicate in English. 3) Pierre is excellent to do business with--swift in communicating, fair and scrupulous.

The Riad is a unique cosy and amazing place. The breakfast and meals are excellent. A special mention for the 2 cookers and the housekeeper who are very kind and lovely. The place is close to the mainsquare which is much appreciated.
