About the property At Jordani you are able to feel Bissau’s exuberance, joyfulness, warmth and aliveness. The way the space is built gives it a cozy and familiar touch. Its heart is a common yard in which everyone can meet during the day, able to express the typical celebration feeling. We choose AUTHENTIC over luxuryous! We privilege a TRUE experience. For the winter or summer we have air conditioner. The only thing we don t have is hot water. Here it´s naturally warm and you´ll be craving for it to be cold! There is a common balcony on the top floor rooms. Locals in Guinea do things together, helping each other when it s needed. This is the reason of the almost inexistent homeless people in town. Guinea is prosperous in meat, fish, seafood, and fruit with some unique amazing flavours. About the staff Each and everyone contributes to this wealthy environment. Each and everyone is a Guinean experiencing sometimes not the most favorable politic and life conditions, always with a light, bright and simple smile. The only one who´s not from Guinea is Sacramento. Coming from Angola and Portugal he´s another piece of the puzzle of Jordani’s soul. He dedicates all his being to this place and its people. Sure you´ll notice when you arrive! About the surrondings Jordani is located in the old Bissau´s center. You have mango or banana trees at your door. There are markets where you can buy almost anything you can imagine. Catch a boat and travel through our 88 paradisiac islands. Some of them even untouched by human kind. Night life never stops, from monday to monday. Catch a toca-toca and “touch-touch” to get to your destination, or catch one of the hundreds of “public taxis”. Meet one of the most famous Carnaval in the world.
