Interaction avec les clients: We, the owners, live abroad but our villa staff are there to look after all your requirements including the housekeeping, making delicious breakfasts, cooking from our varied and reasonably priced menu, and helping with concierge serves like restaurant bookings, tours etc (we do not add a mark-up to the tour operators' prices).
In addition to their incredible level of service, our villa team takes great pride in providing our guests with an authentic Balinese experience, by organising attendance at local ceremonies etc, where possible. Please read our reviews to see the value the team adds to our guests' holiday.
I have yet to come down from my family reunion birthday trip to Ubud staying at Villa Sagitta. I feel totally blissed out! We had 13 people stay together, aged 10 to 86 years old and it was pure magic beyond compare. Every need was catered to and no one had to lift a finger. It was perfection from start to end. This memory will stay with me for a long time.
Our kind host Yande made our stay so personal and wonderfully intimate. Every need was taken care of ; delicious catered Indonesian meals, wines, cocktails, endless tea and coffee, in house massages, facials and shellac mani pedis that were top class, drivers, 24 hr laundry and Yande popping into town for meds or little things that we needed at a moments notice.
The suckling pig Balinese feast that was prepared in house one night is a must try and highlight! The team hand decorated the table with gorgeous hanging stars made of coconut leaf.
The rooms are beautifully curated with fine art and antiques. I slept like a baby. Some days I woke up early to see an glowy orange sunrise, peeking through a lush green forest. It wasn't a dream, I was in a forest paradise.
The style of the house is more traditional, and charming than modern so don't expect flashy, expect and receive magic and flow.

Ah-MAZING!!!!!
It’s hard to put into words how magical Villa Sagitta is. Your senses will be on overload for the first 48 hours as you try to take in all the sounds, sites and smells of the jungle and rushing river that the villa overlooks. Yande, the house manager is the real deal who lives to meet your every request and has an amazing team who all work together to give their guest’s 5-star experiences. Food was great (we ended up eating every night there because it was that good). The villa’s bedrooms are big, beautiful and all decorated with Bali furnishings & art. The bathrooms are amazing with outdoor showers facing the jungle. I was emotional when we had to say goodbye as this had become my sanctuary for 4 days but I know I will return again. If you’re looking to have a real Bali experience with 5-star accommodations, book Villa Sagitta!

Live in the middle of the jungle
Beautiful villa in the middle of the jungle for the whole family (2-75 years). We stayed 15 persons for five days and had a lovely time. The staff is very kind and the food is great. Lots of trips to take just near by; waterfalls, rafting, temples and Ubud. Don’t hesitate to book Villa Sagita.

Amazing Villa for Groups
This villa was a wonderful place to stay for our group of 9. Location is close to Ubud centre but far away enough to experience peace and quiet. Loved the swimming pool and outlook over the forest. Special mention to the villa manager Yande and his team for their friendly service. No request was too much - from booking transfers to delivering a dress that someone accidentally left behind to our next accommodation... Really easy to communicate with the host and Yande when needed. Amazing stay - would highly recommend.

Peaceful Retreat to chill with family
Lovely property. Green and peaceful. Hear nothing but the wind and the running river in the day.... evenings bring calls of birds returning to roost and tiny forest creatures like frogs and cicadas. My kids had a frog in their room one night, they were thrilled, although the frog did make so much noise that they did not sleep much that night.
Property manager Yande and staff are friendly and very helpful. But communication with staff other than Yande, takes some time and patience. Yande went through much trouble to set up the TV for us so that we could watch the World Cup finals, although receiption on the TV was really bad, and we could barely see anything. Nonetheless, we really appreciate the effort that Yande took to try for us. It is great that we can order simple food if feeling lazy for the day. The beds are super comfortable, and the pillows are of the right firmness for us.
However, the property is showing its age, and housekeeping can be improved. If more than 3 rooms are required, do note that 3 of the 6 bedrooms are in separate buildings, and you need to go through steep uneven outdoor unsheltered and unlit steps to get to those rooms. some bathrooms are open to the sky so when it rains, you'll be showering in the rain. I loved that about the open bathrooms .... but my kids did not. Bring your own toiletries, I did not like the toiletries provided ....
There are no locks on the bedroom doors ... they are ledged from the inside ... but no keys to lock when you leave the room. Safe boxes are provided, but they are old and not bolted to the wall or floor .... having said that we felt safe without the locks ... and didn't bring any valuables that needed to be kept in the safe.
Bali coffee and tea are provided free throughout the stay. There is a nesspresso machine, but coffee pods are charged as used. For the price of the rooms, it would have been nice if nesspresso pods were also complimentary.
The road leading to the villa entrance is steep and narrow. Larger MPVs or Vans will have difficulty assessing the villa. We had to stop at the top of the slope and walk down a short path to get to the villa. Not a problem for us, but may be a little difficult for older guests, as the slope is steep and a little slippery on wet days. If returning late at night, the dogs from neighbouring houses may be a little intimidating.
Drive into Ubud takes about 30mins athough distance is not far, due to small roads and the bad traffic everywhere ( not due the fault of the villa at all ).
But nontheless, we loved our stay. I would stay again and would recommend it to friends if their party is without young children and old folks.

Best time ever
Together with group of friends stayed at Villa Sagitta few nights before returning to Dubai. All i can say I wish i could stay longer there as the place is a simply paradise. Great facilities, amazing views and outstanding and professional service from Yande and his team. The food was excellent, the villa itself and rooms were stunning. The pool terrace and the forest views were magical. I really recommend massage services as well.
Yande you are truly best host I came across and I definitely will be coming back. Keep well and stay safe friend.

Stunning views, the most amazing staff, exceptional in every way!
Perched atop a ravine with endless forest views, Villa Sagitta is a haven about 30 minutes from Ubud center. Pejang village is a beautiful escape from the bustle of the city, the drive to Ubud and its restaurants and shops is itself a lovely experience, whether by car or motorbike. Twisting roads through rice fields and villages take you right to town.
While at Sagitta prepare to be awed by the stunning grounds, the amazing views, and the pampering by the best staff in all of Bali. Yande and his staff at the villa take excellent care of everyone. From the delicious breakfasts that are included, to the menu of delicious meal choices throughout the day that are an incredible value, the food is top notch, restaurant quality.
The rooms are beautiful and spacious, and the joglo suite is absolutely stunning. This one bedroom being open to the air was not an issue at all as the hills are crisp and cool at night and mornings are a revelation with bird song and mist rising through the trees,
The pool and grounds laid out over the side of the ravine are lush and inspiring - you will never want to leave. We can't wait to be back next year!

Amazing Holiday In Beautiful UBud Home

Thank you for a wonderful holiday. The beautiful property was underestimated and pictures doesn’t do it justice. It’s breathtaking and so much to take in. 4 days wasn’t enough. Every room, every piece of furniture was so thought out and picked with love. To the Yan De and staff thank you for an amazing holiday. Yan De and staff went above and beyond each day. Yan De, you do everything with so much detail and love. Thank you extending your family and warm welcome to our family. Please make sure to walk through the community as it is such a beautiful village of family and friends. Also the water fall in its own very back yard. My family of 7 enjoyed everything about this place. We will be back!

Lovely villa by the valley
I stayed at Villa Sagitta for almost 2 weeks for my remote work. The greenery view is something different, and the villa provides modern living to work at (air-con, high-speed internet, warm water both for shower and the sink, bidet), and meals are well-catered for so I can focus on virtual meetings.
This villa is perfect for couples or young people to stay and relax with their spacious rooms. Probably not suitable for young children due to its cliff-side location. It is an open natural design, so do expect some flies and mosquitoes around.
If you’re looking for quiet hideaway, this place is perfect. The masseur completes the stay with a relaxing touch too.
I stayed at the downstairs room, the only issue I had was the bathroom design, so water splashes after shower makes it very slippery. The stone design surrounding the shower area that is humid hosts some insects and worms too.
The staff are all very helpful and keen to provide good service and are well-trained.

Thanks for your review, I'm so pleased you enjoyed your stay. Our villa is in the tropics so there can be insects at certain times of the year, however we do provide repellent etc for guests who require it.

The villa can be booked as 3 bedrooms sleeping 6 people or fewer, right up to 6 bedrooms sleeping 12 people. We also have a travelling cot for babies and toddlers.
The villa will always be let to only one rental party at a time. We never simultaneously rent the Joglo Suite and villa to separate renters.

Child policy
We welcome children under the age of 18 if accompanied by an adult guardian, but cannot assume responsibility for their safety whilst on the property. There is an unprotected swimming pool and the garden is steep in parts.
