Excellent location and a wonderful villa.
I think the strongest statement about a holiday location is your interest in returning. We have visited Kalkan a number of times and tried staying in various places. We had booked to go back to Dalora next year before we had even left this year. Before I go any further, I should state that my wife has asked me not to be too nice when reviewing this accommodation, so it doesn’t become too popular, so we can go back again in the future. There are a number of pieces of information that are needed when picking the right property to stay in, in Kalkan. Location is a big one, where in the greater Kalkan area as well as what local shops and restaurants are available. The next obviously being the villa itself. And the final thing to note is the team you will need to deal with. Dalora sits above the D400 (the large main road that dissects the main lower area from the villas set high on the mountainside). This means that it’s not a villa you want to walk back to at the end of an evening. Taxi’s however are very inexpensive, and the location of Dalora, sitting next door to the Hatice Sultan means it is really easy to give directions to. There are a couple of small shops and restaurants in very easy walking range, including a pizza place (Tesoro Pizza) just at the end of the garden (very handy I can tell you). The location is therefore excellent. Another advantage of being higher is the excellent views and at the altitude it makes it just a little bit cooler during the day. That covers the location. What is Dalora like as a villa? It has an excellently laid out and well stocked kitchen. Every cooking item we needed was available. It has a lovely eating area immediately outside the villa doors overlooking the garden and the pool. We mostly ate out, but had breakfast there most days. The bedrooms and living room have excellent air conditioning (important in July I can tell you). Everywhere was clean and comfortably furnished. Finally, not wanting to be crude, but if you are familiar with Turkish toilets, you will know what I mean about the washer jet. This is the first place I have stayed where they were all working as they should. All in all, it was a lovely place to stay. The pool area is everything you need. The pool itself is deep enough to swim in, but not too deep (I don’t swim well). The loungers are very comfy (I honestly didn’t fall asleep much). There is a lovely little seating area below the end of the pool where we sat on the odd evening have a pre-going out drink. Taking in the view of the Kalkan bay, from Dalora you get one of the better views that I have had from any property I have stayed at before. Finally, there was the team. Booking was easy, and all communications were excellent. Organising transport was a doddle. Everything went as it was meant to, and with some of the nicest vehicles we have had on our way to and from Kalkan. But it was the little things. For instance, we opened up one of the umbrellas next to the pool one day and low and behold a group of wasps had moved in. A quick Whatsapp message and not long after it was all sorted. Everything was slick and handled in a friendly manor. And that adds up to why we booked again immediately. And the reason we are likely to do so again and again.

Amazing villa with stunning views
Dalora did not disappoint. A beautiful villa with stunning views and everything you need for a perfect holiday. The villa is clean and everything thought about to make the stay perfect. Kalkan is a beautiful place and we have already booked to go back next year. Can highly recommend and the kids loved it as much as we did.

A dream holiday
Wow , what can l say to put into words how fantastic this villa is OUT OF THIS WORLD !! From initial booking , communication has been fantastic , even booking transfers from airport Welcome pack such a lovely idea , saved rushing out to supermarket and jump straight into the fabulous private pool . Accommodation is beautiful, every small detail is thought of , trendy but homely So much space for a family of 6 people , all rooms on suite and power showers as well as massage shower . Dishwasher , washing machine ( great for a family ) Water machine a total godsend Beds huge and comfy and decor fabulous Outdoor area is huge , infinity pool with stunning views .. seating area and those comfy day beds snooze away the afternoon . Really useful book in places to eat , boat trips , beach bars and all numbers for emergencies Dr etc Manger on hand if needed and communication great Pool man comes and does a fantastic job Overall can’t rate this place enough , photos don’t do it justice on how lovely it really is Can’t wait to come back , hopefully a space to book again as fallen in love with Kalkan and this Villa Thank you so much Angela , Barbara and the Dalora Team ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ See you again x

Everything you could ever want from a holiday rental!
6 of us had the pleasure of staying at Dalora in September. The property was absolutely immaculate. The facilities meant that you really didn’t need to leave the apartment, which was a massive bonus during the pandemic. The pool and outside terraces are stunning, as are all the indoor bedrooms and living areas. It’s finished to a very high standard, complete with all the appliances and essentials you could need- plenty of crockery, utensils, glasses etc which seems like a small thing- but it’s often overlooked in many rentals. The fact that every bedroom has its own zen suite bathroom is also a great bonus. Beautiful views, and Kalkan itself is a lovely Town, especially in the “Old Town” area. We can’t wait to go back, and have already booked our return visit. Thanks Dalora!

Amazing Villa - perfect for family or a group holiday!
Dalora is such a beautiful villa. Perfectly positioned slightly uphill, the views from the garden area are spectacular, particularly as the sun is setting! The pool is just perfect for keeping cool in the heat and doing a few lengths! The outside dining area is lovely too, perfect for a BBQ and night in, or getting a takeaway in for a lazy, relaxed evening. The kitchen is well equipped for any cooking you'd like to do, whether it’s a fry up or some simple pasta for dinner, and the living room area is lovely and spacious, yet cosy, perfect for curling up if the evenings are a little chilly late in the season. The bedrooms are beautifully finished too, all with large ensuites, giving you plenty of space to relax and get ready to head out on a day trip, or into town for the evening. After just a short walk into town, the nightlife is great, so many lovely restaurants, all serving beautiful food, (steaks seem to be a speciality!) and plenty of bars with such friendly staff serving lovely cocktails! All in all, a fantastic holiday location, well worth booking for your next family or group holiday!!!

Third Year in Paradise!!
This was our third year at Dalora, and we wanted to share the luxury and ideal location with our family. We selected the later period of the year to be able to enjoy the town for its quiet streets and fantastic restaurants with superb steaks and grills. Every bar in Kalkan has speciality drinks that you enjoy after lazing around your own superb pool at Dalora. The apartment has everything you need - including washing machine - so don’t over-pack (I always do! - and end up having to carry it all!). 😁👍👌

Amazing Villa, Amazing Place
Beautiful villa situated above the vibrant Kalkan area with tonnes of restaurants and bars just a 5/10 minute walk away. The villa itself has all of the modern amenities you could want with a clean finish making it feel just like a home away from home. Lovely outdoor space, broken down into 3 sections with a simple change in level between each part. The pool is crystal clear and cool for a refreshing swim, or if soaking up the sun is your idea of relaxation then the sun loungers and beanbags are ideal for this. The view from the garden is stunning in the mornings and the evenings alike, with the sun shimmering off the bright blue sea during the day and the lights of the restaurants and bars illuminating the main walkways of Kalkan during the evenings. The bedrooms are light and spacious with more than adequate storage for your belongings; then add the en suite facilities and balconies to these brilliant living spaces and you’ll find yourself almost never wanting to leave your room! The kitchen area is well equipped with all you could need to provide for yourself during your time away, if you don’t fancy heading out to one of the amazing eateries located nearby (or if you don’t fancy ordering food in, which we did and were very impressed with). All in all, Dalora is an amazing stay, regardless of whatever your plans are for your time in Kalkan and you’ll find yourself in a hurry to book there again before next years dates are taken!

Lift your spirits at Dalora Kalkan
I was in need of rest and relaxation and I found a space that delivered at Dalora Kalkan. From the moment we booked the villa with ease to departing the airport nothing was too much trouble. Our transfers were arranged for us and I was delighted with the driver’s professionalism and caring helpful approach. The Villa is exactly as advertised. The video is a true reflection of what welcomed us. I was blown away. Spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated with a kitchen that had everything you could possibly need for your stay. Beds were comfortable. Great quality patio furnishings and an amazing pool looking across Kalkan bay. It’s not far to walk into town but but there was so much information to explain how to utilise local suppliers and taxis. As a disabled person this was so helpful. Kalkan is an incredible destination and I would like to return. Everyone was so friendly I didn’t want to leave. So I would suggest booking Dalora with confidence that you will have a fabulous holiday.

Spacious Duplex with everything you need for a stress free holiday in the sun.
Found this Duplex on various sites but dealt with the Dalora team direct. They made the whole process stress free and answered any queries quickly and accurately, great communication! Transfer from the Airport arranged through Dalora team and all very prompt and efficient. It was our 4th visit to Kalkan and the best accommodation we have found for the price so far. All rooms well appointed with large Beds, plenty of storage and large walk in showers. Kitchen fully equipped and suitable for light lunches up to a full cooked meal. Outside area fantastic with plenty of sun bed and seating space surrounding a well proportioned clean Pool with a Sea view towards the Bay, albeit slightly obscured by Olive trees. Set just above the Main road, which didn’t bother us, it was a casual 15 minutes stroll down to the Harbour, but steep hills and uneven pavements could be an issue for those less mobile. Local Shops and Bars available closer at hand with the main Supermarkets around 5 minutes walk, (everything you need from fresh local Veg to Branded Spirits, but recommend getting a Taxi back up to the Duplex which cost about £3! Kalkan is the perfect little Seaside resort for a relaxing break in the sun with an endless choice of quality Restaurants for dining, Beach clubs for lazing and stunning views to enjoy. We will be back again next year, unfortunately not at Dalora as already booked so will find another little gem to stay at!
