We were looking for a quiet less crowded getaway for our family. This location was perfect, two minutes from the pool and three minutes from the beach walking. It was total relaxation and the unit was definitely well equipped to handle up to 10 people.

We really enjoyed the house and all that Dauphin Island had to offer.

We had an excellent time. The house had everything we needed to cook with and plenty of paper toiletries. The beach and pool within walking distance. The neighborhood was so quiet and peaceful; It was the perfect getaway for us.

Really enjoyed both decks and upstairs balcony. Kitchen was very well equipped for anything you might need. Home was well-stocked with paper products and common household cleaning products. Bedrooms were comfortable and pretty. We loved the colorful pillows! Thank you.

The house was great! Everything was as expected!

We were 2 families, adults and a mixture of teens and pre teens. The house was comfortable and spacious and the kitchen was well stocked. There was a wagon on site to haul chairs, umbrella, beach towels and etc to the beach, but the walk was a bit far. It was a very quiet and relaxing place to stay, off the beaten path so to speak so we didn't hear a lot of traffic The beach was not crowded, the swimming pool was vacant most of the time. Loved the fact that we had a washer and dryer to keep swimsuits and towels fresh. We were very glad to have a place to wash the sand off of our shoes and feet before entering the home. The property managers left phone numbers on the dining table if we needed to be in touch. On the flip side, the beds were worn and not in the best of shape so some of us (adults) didn't sleep well. We had a few problems with the main floor bathroom draining. The house needed a few repairs here and there but our overall experience was great! We were excited to have our deposit back so quickly after our stay so Thank you Julie!

My family spent 4 days at this location, July 5 to 9, 2017. The home was just right for a family of 8 including three children. We loved it and highly recommend it as vacation away from home. I do suggest the owner check the shower tubs and the whirlpool bathe they were full of sand.

I would start with just saying how great this place is. To begin with logistically, we easily slept the 5 adults and 4 children of our family, not to mention had plenty of room for all of our stuff. The kitchen is remarkably well stocked with most any utensil or normal kitchen gadget you will want for (though I didn't see a toaster, so bring your own if you're of a mind for crispy buttered bread). The walk down to the boardwalk seems to take a while, but is not insurmountable, and the pull cart that is provided works well at hauling even the most top heavy of loads. There are plenty of beach towels and bath towels, but you may want to bring some of your own washcloths if you like to use more than 2 per day like many of my family. The decor of the house is splendid, tasteful and beach/nautical themed without being overdone. I cannot over emphasize how clean the entire house was overall. Even the two neat/germ "freaks" in my family were blown away, and had no problems whatsoever. Remember, and I'm sure you know this if you are looking at this or any other property on Dauphin Island, that it is a good 60 minute haul over to Gulf Shores. For me that was one of the best parts about this place as it meant the usual tourist-tastic traffic was not there. The beach was clean and sparsely populated, and I had no need of continually reminding my sons to "bounce their eyes" when someone wearing 10 ft of dental floss more than nothing came casually strolling by. There are a few good places to get food there on the island, and the neighborhood pool and tennis court were nice changes in activities from simply being beach bums. Lastly, I highly recommend this property to anyone wanting to have a wonderful extended getaway at the beach, without all of the noise of somewhere really busy or populated. I know that my family will be back soon.

Beautiful house, the owner Julie was excellent, she was all the time available to talk. Quiet and private neighborhood , close to the beach, perfect vacation for our families. Kids and teens love it! Thank you Julie, this house has everything we needed!
