Superb Accommodation
We stayed at Pepper Berry self catering cottage for the second time, again for the whole month of February.
The cottage has a very well equipped kitchen with all modern appliances. A lovely sitting room and very nice bedroom en suite.
Alicia is always very helpful and will answer any questions you may have. She told us about a couple of new restaurants in the pretty town of Hermanus, both were excellent.
We highly recommend Pepper Berry Cottage.

Great place to stay
We booked well in adavance to spend most of our summer holiday in Hermanus. We were looking at a place which could offer not only safe and secure parking, but also a seperate bedroom, kitchen and lounge area. We found all and more at Pepper Berry. We also had our dinning area as well as an outside patio with table & chairs together with two sun loungers plus a braai facility which we made use of most days. The cottage is very well equipped with all utensils you may require, including an electric oven and gas hob. Even a Nespresso coffee machine which we used all the time.
Alica and Len welcomed us for our 14 day stay at the cottage. We had some beautiful orange tulips in our room, including fresh fruit, water and fruit juice in the kitchen. This was well appreciated.
The cottage is well outside the main town area which is about a 20 minute walk from the cottage. This we preffered to be away from the busy town centre, which can get rather busy over the feastive season. We did daily walks either to town or to the new harbour making use of the beautiful seaside cliff paths.
We had such a wonderful time in Hermanus and the main contributing factor was staying at Pepper Berry. The hosts Alica & Len also stay on the property, but never interfere with you. They are wonderful hosts.
We would like to recommend that they could consider recycling which could only be a positive point for the cottage, as well as block-out for the bedroom curtains.
You will not be disappointed considering Pepper Berry cottage for your next holiday in Hermanus.

Thank you so very much for the lovely review. Much appreciated. So happy to hear that Pepper Berry Place did not disappoint and that you guys had a lovely time. Thanks for the friendly advice. We actually do recycle but do it from the house. A good idea to also allow our guests to recycle. Have been considering block out curtains for the bedroom and I'm hoping to do this before the next summer season. It was an absolute pleasure hosting you and we look forward to welcoming you back in the not too distant future.

Loved it
We have just returned from 4 nights in this beautiful cottage, Spotlessly clean with a fully equipped kitchen meant we could please ourselves eating out or in. Having stayed in many 5 star hotels we can safely say the decor and soft furnishings would not be out of place in many of them and in fact is better than some . Alicia was very helpful in telling us where to get our washing done and suggested a restaurant that was new since we last visited. Betty Blue for lunch. The cottage is secure and quiet ideal for us. We will return if we get the chance.
