This property is centrally located in Old Town Padstow. Originally, this was the Old Police House and has the tallest door in Padstow to accommodate the police hats worn in those days!
The building comprises of two apartments and each apartment has the fantastic advantage of adjoining parking for one vehicle. Vans and large MPV's would probably not fit, but we can offer a discount towards parking costs if this is the case. Pets (max two dogs) are welcome. This page covers the 1 bedroomed Apartment 2.

Although not 5 star Padstow accommodation, this one bedroomed - Apartment 2 is very comfortable, has character and is very well located. Linen is supplied, but please bring your own beach towels and flannels.
We take bookings for couples or singles in this apartment only.
A lot of improvements have been made in the last year, including double glazing throughout, slate hung exterior wall, new carpets throughout and some new interior furniture and blinds. Look out for more improvements over the forthcoming years! The owner would currently rate the apartment as 3 star.Initial access is through a large communal hallway. From the hallway each apartment has its own private access.We now have a a WiFi router in the hallway for both apartments to share.

Apartment 2 is located directly off this hallway, on the ground floor. There is a good sized bedroom, with a Double Bed, off the interior hallway, along with a separate, newly refurbished bathroom, which has a shower cubicle, rather than a bath.Also off the interior hallway is a Lounge/Diner which has a twin sofa and an armchair, and a small Flat Screen TV. There is a folding dining table and two chairs available.The good-sized and well equipped Kitchen is separated from the lounge by a sliding door, and has an electric 4-ringed hob, an electric oven with grill, and a microwave oven. There is also a fridge. Please do note: There is no dishwasher, washing machine or freezer within the property, although there is a nearby laundrette in Wadebridge.There are Electric Storage Heaters in the bedroom and lounge, plus a fan heater in the kitchen and some electric heaters available, should they be needed.The hot water is electrically heated throughout.There is access to the bins through a stable door at the rear of the property. The outside space belongs to the house at the rear, but the steps have shared access for both houses.There is double glazing, but the property is very central so please be prepared for a little passing noise, although the street is very quiet, generally.
Preferred Saturday changeover bookings in high season and Fridays may not be available during the summer holiday weeks. Please enquire first at these times. We can be more flexible in low season.
We try to accommodate shorter lets, but for a minimum of 3 nights.
Check in on Fridays is after 5.30pm and 5pm on other days. Check out is 10.00am.
If you are staying for two weeks, a local cleaner can come in after the first week for an additional fee of £25
We are happy to accept up to two dogs in the apartment, as it is such a beautiful area for them. Please mention how many pets in your booking enquiry.
Please do note that there is an apartment above this one. We have put new underlay in to keep noise to a minimum but, as in all old houses, it is impossible to completely mask.Plus

Padstow is a beautiful and historic harbour town, which still supports local fishing and has all the watersports you could need within easy access.
The restaurants and pubs in the area have something for everyone and the Camel Trail is fantastic for an easy day's cycling.
The nearest beaches are within a 10 minute walk, and Rock can be visited via a regular ferry service.
Excellent golf courses are within easy reach by car, as are all the glorious bays in the St Merryn area.
Most pubs and beaches in the area are dog friendly.
