The Deer Creek Ridge Villa is a thoughtfully decorated period piece that offers vistas so beautiful, you will be asking yourself why would I even leave to explore Malibu.
It is the rare occasion, when the amenities somehow are the feature attraction in a region so beautiful.
While, it can easily accommodate many more people, it managed to be very intimate for our family of four.
I would strongly recommend this lovely home to anyone looking to visit the very finest at Malibu has to offer.

The retreat is better than what the pictures can tell. The view is spectacular. The house is really beautiful. The garden with its plants and flowers is sublime. The pool is a beauty and very deep. The owners were super helpful. The kitchen is well equipped. Cleanliness was perfect...my wife is very critical on the subject. Beds were comfortable. Perfect location for road biking (good luck on the hills), hiking and obviously surfing.

Its hard to imagine a more elegantly situated, constructed, designed, furnished, beloved home for a personal retreat, and/or to gather, elevate and celebrate a special moment! Truly exquisite details everywhere!
Note: It was my first rental that charges per person, either by a nightly or day rate depending on your type of stay (beyond 2 people).
With that said, Rick was a very warm, attentive host who promptly responded to any questions or requests as they arose. I would be grateful to return for a future stay; it is a simply magical spot to be savored in the highest!

Meaningful Retreat
When traveling, We love to meet new people, experience new things, and embark on all sorts of new adventures. After spending our first day on this Malibu property, We knew we had made an excellent decision! Stunning and Luxurious
Amazing property and Rick is a fantastic host. Pictures were beautiful and yet the home exceeded our expectations. Property is meticulously maintained and beautifully done. Grounds and views are gorgeous. Hiking nearby and easy access to beach gave us plenty to keep us busy - not that we ever wanted to leave! Kitchen was very well stocked and high end appliances made it fun to cook and entertain ourselves at home. Perfect getaway weekend!

A weekend in the clouds
I just returned from the most amazing 3 night stay at Deer Creek Ridge. Rick was an amazingly attentive host and the property was more beautiful than I could have ever expected. Rick greeted us when we arrived and gave us a tour of the entire property and made himself available to answer questions that came up throughout the entire stay. It felt like we were staying at a boutique hotel up in the clouds, surrounded by mountains and beautiful ocean views. Though mosquitos are not typically a problem at the property, they were a bit of an issue when we arrived. Rick was very accommodating and ordered plenty of citronella candles that allowed us to enjoy the pool, outdoor dining, and lounging areas. Besides the small mosquito issue that was resolved, we had the most amazing time. The beds were so comfortable, the area was peaceful and quiet, the host was so accommodating, the house was beautiful, the kitchen was well stocked, and we can't wait to stay again soon! If you're looking for a true getaway, Deer Creek Ridge is the perfect place!

PERFECT BLISS
Literally the most beautiful home I’ve ever stayed at ... We didn’t want to leave! Gorgeous in every way. Immaculately maintained by the owners who were super sweet and so communicative and helpful. LOVE. We can’t say enough nice things: wish we could have moved in!!!

Beyond Expectations
Rick and the property at Deer Creek Ridge were amazing. The house was better than the pictures (brand new kitchen! ... that we used every day) and was immaculate. Outdoor space and view were as good as they get, and Rick was a terrific host. Never any issues, always kind, polite and responsive. Thanks for a great week!
