The check-in procedure is horrendous, took more than an hour as each person in front of us was harassed with timeshare sales pitches. When we finally got to our rental unit, a big pile of garbage greeted us at the front door. Inside the place seemed “clean enough“ there was a heavy smell of Clorox throughout the apartment,we found out why later as the place had a rather foul smell to it overall. The furniture was old and dated and looked nothing like the pictures on VRBO. We shrugged her shoulders and settled in for the night. The following morning we got up and our youngest grandchild (not quite two) was head to toe hives and needed to go to the walk-in clinic. After a full day in the clinic we come to find out that something in the unit spurred an allergic reaction and it was best that they moved to a hotel down the road rather than have another episode and miss another day at Disney. My wife and I stayed in the condo… Alone. Throughout the time we were there we were constantly harassed by phone calls with hard sales man pushing timeshares. They have bull pits where they bring people in and work them until they finally get what they want. Thank goodness we knew we wanted nothing to do with it. There is more, but I’m sure you’re tired of reading and I’m tired of writing so just be aware that the place is “just OK“.

We planned a last minute Disney Trip for our family over spring break. Check in was fast and easy, the condo was clean and had lots of space for our family. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you need to get breakfast on the table before heading to the parks for the day, and the washer/dryer allowed us to come home with clean laundry! The drive to Disney was a breeze and access to groceries was right around the corner.

The resort property was nice. The condo itself was outdated. The bare floors made the condo very loud and had echos. The neighbors were loud too!

We only spent 2 nights at Mystic Dunes, waiting for our Vacation Home stay. The property is very nice, if you love to golf. We had a very peaceful view, that we enjoyed. We ate dinner at the Golf Club restaurant one of the nights, and it was excellent, and very affordable, which we were pleasantly surprised by! The condo was very well equipped, and very clean.

We made a last minute reservation for a single night stay and were so pleased that we did. As two couples traveling together, with an infant, we found the unit spacious and comfortable, with ample room for everyone to spread out. Having a full kitchen is always a plus, and we were glad to make use of the refrigerator and lovely morning coffee service. Although we did not utilize many of the facilities (in-unit laundry, swimming pools, on-site restaurants and bars) at the end of a long day at the theme parks, we know that these are an asset to the property. The reservation process was easy and the check in process was quick. We will definitely consider returning to this property for any future visits to the Orlando/Walt Disney World area, and will absolutely recommend it to friends and family.
