The house looks just like in the photos. The internet is not great, but we didn't feel the need to use it much, since we spent most of the time outside. I would stay here again.

Bird Point Cottage's secluded cliff side location makes it an ideal location for relaxed getaway. The cottage was prepared immaculately by the house keeping staff. The property manager and his dog Ginger gave us a warm welcome and excellent orientation of the property and tutorial on the migratory birds that pass thru the location. The kitchen has all you need to prepare meals and was a pleasure to work in. The 2 bathrooms were a bonus. Some creature comforts should be consider . The owners might consider reading lamps in the bedrooms and main seating areas. The Master bedroom would benefit from bedside lamps , bedside tables and storage. The mattresses were very frim especially after long days of hiking and cycling. The location makes for easy access to Point Pelee National Park, Hillman marsh and hiking trails in Wheatly. Guests should also plan a visit to the beaches of historic Erieau while in the area . Guests should also take advantage of the many road side stands with fresh produce and the many local breweries . Guests can also gain a greater knowledge of the areas contribution to the historic Under ground railroad while visiting sites along the Talbot trail. If cook needs a night off the legendary Freddy's is a short drive away. Birds point's spectacular cliff side location and cool lake side breezes make it a great spot to retreat and re-charge.

This cottage is situated on a stunning cliff by Lake Erie and has lots of land around it. The property is well stocked with kitchen appliances and pots/pans/ plates etc. and the furnishings are eclectic and comfortable. Clearly the owners have tried to modernise parts of the building, but other updates would have made the stay even better, such as having a closet and curtains on one of the windows in the master bedroom. Some of the lights didn’t work so one room was quite dark in the evenings/ the bathroom only had a vanity light. It would have been great to have the tv in the main living space, rather than out in the games room. All these are suggestions that I think would take this property to another level. The owner was very responsive with any questions and the neighbour incredibly kind and helpful. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and you cannot beat the views.

Wish there had been more wash cloths. There was an extra mattress but no linens for it. Door leading to patio didn't lock. Some of the instructions in the booklet would have been nice to know prior to arrival. Some of the dishes were not clean. Overall, enjoyed our stay and the property is very nice.

Great view and lots of yard space! It was super hot, humid and muggy during our stay and we kept cool indoors! The amount of bugs outdoors is insane here! Yet nothing owners could have done about the weather or bugs much. The neighbor was super nice and would check on us with his dog Ginger! Full functioning kitchen, stocked with pots, pans, dishes and cutlery! Wish the outdoor space in the back was maintained better! Most of the patio chairs were broken. BBQ machine needs a good cleaning and maintenance, come prepared to clean the grill. Some of the beds were uncomfortable and too firm, however that is dependent on preference. Overall good stay, would recommend!

A very clean and well equipped place for anyone looking to enjoy the great views and get some R&R. Communication with the property manager was very good and he was always willing to help if we have any questions. Will go again.
