We enjoyed the cabin. We enjoyed hearing the water rush by at the stream. It was so peaceful. We hated to leave. It was a great relaxing trip!

We came up from Tampa for our winter vacation and to celebrate our son's birthday and the New Year in Blue Ridge. Everything about this cabin was absolutely perfect! It was warm and inviting and rustic and placed in the perfect spot! The kids loved sleeping up in the loft, the family room was cozy, the deck on the back provided a beautiful view down to the river, and the cabin was completely stocked with absolutely everything we needed. Plates, silverware, drinking glasses, mugs, pots, pans, cookkng utensils, linens, everything. Even the freezer was stocked with frozen glasses and many pre-filled ice cube trays (sounds like a little thing, but it shows attention to detail). One of the cabinets had staples like salt, pepper, sugar, and some basic spices. I wonder if some of the spices were left by previous guests, which would be a cool way to fill the spice cabinet. The basement has a ping pong table and darts for creating family rivalries, as well.
The cabin is just a short walk down some steps to the Toccoa River. There's an open, flat area beside the river where the kids played, a swing, picnic area, fire pit, horseshoes, and steps providing access to the river. This place is a secluded paradise and we cannot wait to return!

Beautiful property and home. Very relaxing and quiet, peaceful place. It’s a nice getaway, but bring provisions. It’s a bit of a ride to town if you’re not used to mountain roads. Not to far to attempt and beautiful countryside but it can make you queasy if you’re not used to it. House was fully equipped and ready, just know that phone reception is horrible and until you get on Wi-Fi don’t expect to use data to find information when you get there.

This cabin is furnished with everything you need! Activities from fishing on the Tacooa river, swinging on the porch or riverside to ping pong in the basement. We even saw deer in the fields in the evening right down the road. Suitable for one to two couples or family of 6. We highly recommend!

I stayed here with my husband and two young daught...
I stayed here with my husband and two young daughters for a few days during fall break. The cabin was charming. The girls loved the upstairs loft sleeping area, and eating breakfast out in the back porch was beautiful. They called it our cozy cabin. I agree with the other reviews that this is a cabin meant for quality family time and reconnecting with each other. Enjoy the sounds of nature, the beautiful river, and family!

Enjoyed our stay, very quiet and peaceful. Cabin was very nice and comfortable with everything we needed. The river was a short walk down from the cabin. Would definitely stay there again!!
