The cabin was absolutely beautiful and perfect in every way. We spent most of our time in the kitchen around the fabulous island eating and drinking. Then hit the hot tub for relaxation. The beds were comfy and we all slept well. Would definitely go back.

Mathew was a wonderful host. From the moment we booked our stay he was communicating with us regarding any questions we had. The property is beautiful and has the most amazing views. We checked out the surrounding homes and felt that theirs had the best view with it being perched on top of the hill. The road is super fun leading to the cabin. Very hilly but we found it to be a small adventure. The kids all said “weee” anytime we were driving through the neighborhood. I love the proximity to the small town of Copperhill, TN where you can drink a beer in two states! Only 10 mins from downtown Blue Ridge as well. Our dog also had a great time & it made things super easy having the fenced backyard. Short drive to many hiking spots. Another detail that I found super convenient is that the stairs have a built in gate. We brought our 1 year old so that was a saving grace for us personally. There are so many places you can sit and enjoy a cup of whatever you love to drink. The cabin is clean and had everything we needed and more. The kitchen has everything you need for cooking!
It was a relaxing adventure and we would love to come back to see what the summertime has to offer :)

Loved everything about Almost Like Home! This beautiful cabin was super clean, open and spacious but still very cozy, and was decorated perfectly, there was even a Christmas tree! Our corgi loved the fenced in area and also napping by the cozy fire in the fireplace. The view was absolutely Gorgeous and was definitely my favorite feature about this cabin! We enjoyed our relaxing pre Christmas vacay very much!

2nd time we have stayed here, very easy access to ...
2nd time we have stayed here, very easy access to bring my mobility challenged mother in law, only 2 steps to get her inside the cabin, with 2 large bedrooms on the main, all the kids downstairs (walk out basement with living room and game room).
Perfect fenced in doggy door side yard for our doodle to go in and out safely.

We spent a week in this beautiful cabin with excellent views and assure you that it will not disappoint. The cabin is impeccably appointed, and every possible amenity is provided for your convenience. The host/owner is readily accessible and very helpful with any questions or issues you may have. The road into the neighborhood is paved and well maintained. The driveway takes you directly to the front door. Your fur baby will enjoy the large, securely fenced yard. We feel the cabin deserves to be featured in architectural magazines. We hope you enjoy this beautiful cabin as much as we did.
