Vue exceptionnelle sur l’eau et les petites îles environnantes autant de l’extérieur que de l’intérieur de la maison. En une semaine seulement 1 petit bateau moteur, mais plusieurs kayaks. Par contre, l’accès à l’eau depuis la maison est difficile. L’escalier pour s’y rendre est en mauvais état. Le quai qui doit être sur l’eau ne l’est pas et est mal entretenu. Prévoir vos propres embarcations pour profiter du plan d’eau. Pêche aux maquereaux possible en kayak devant le chalet. Pas besoin de permis, mais surveillez les limites. Eau potable mais désagréable au goût. Cruche d’eau de source disponible à l’arrivée mais prévoir en acheter durant votre séjour. Proximité d’une tente (Dôme) offerte en location. Pas un problème si les locataires sont calmes… BBQ était à remplacer… Douche extérieure n’existe plus. L’extérieur de la maison en général manque un peu d’amour mais la personne en charge en est conscient.

What a stunning location. Morning coffee on the deck. Nighttime stargazing. The home is beautiful and well cared for. Highly recommend a visit to Point Michaud beach, but only if you can drag yourself away from the bliss that is the bluenose house.

The property is very secluded and peaceful. The interior of the home is very beautiful. Accessing the home is slightly challenging due to the condition of the dirt road that goes to the property, but that certainly isn't the owner's fault.

We enjoyed our sty so much ! The chalet is immaculate clean and to be honest so much nicer then the pictures show. It is so comfortable and cosy , it has everything that you could possibly need . Because we were there for New Years , I cooked a 3 course meal and I had everything I needed there . We took an afternoon walk on the beach and it was awesome , very quiet , private . I would highly recommend this property, you won’t be disappointed! The owners were so great and responded to every question we had to make sure our stay was the best !

My wife and I had a lovely stay at this beautiful property with scenic ocean views in Cape Breton. The house was clean, had everything we needed and the wood stove was a lovely touch on those chilly November evenings!

This property was above and beyond. Robert the manager, was always available for questions and ideas, and happy to go out of his way to provide extra information. The house was "eat off the floor" immaculate and had everything and anything you could want or need. We had an amazing week here and would definitely return. This will be a tough act to follow in terms of everything. Robert, thank you for keeping such great care of this place.

We had an amazing stay at Bob's Bluenose home. When we first arrived, we had a couple of questions, and Bob answered my email immediately. The home is stunning, had everything we needed, and was right on the water. Daily, we sat on the deck and simply enjoyed the view of the ocean, the birds, and the occasional seal. I have no complaints and would highly recommend this home to my friends and family.
