Awesome experience! We walked to eat and drink, many places nearby. Margaret was very accommodating and nice, we will definitely come back in the future.

This suite is absolutely beautiful. The pictures do not do capture the detail and the charm. Beautiful and comfortable bed with fine linens, blankets and pillows, gorgeous fireplace, charming furniture, wonderfully done shower and bathroom and the entire space was spotless. We were in love with the place as soon as we walked to the suite entrance. The floors may have been a little shakey and uneven but you are 100% content as you know you are staying in an historic home. The location was within short walking distance to restaurant, bars, and quaint little shops of all sorts.

This property looks great online, but there were some issues that caused us to knock it down a notch, based on experience at similar properties. The "bourbon coffee" sounded great, but it was very stale, and the regular coffee wasn't much better. I think a Keurig would offer better options and fresher coffee. The bathroom was very nice and large, but the furnace could not warm it up and it was very cold. Also, the door to the bathroom did not shut properly- seems like that could have been a simple fix. On the plus side, the bed was very comfy and the room was very clean. On our stay, the Cable TV did not work, which was disappointing, but Margaret Sue opened up an upstairs room so we could go up to watch TV.

We had an absolute blast staying here. Within walking distance to everything in town and centrally located to at least 6 distilleries.

Beautifully appointed massive bedroom with all the amenities—smart TVs, microwave, fridge, coffee maker, in a wonderful location. Definitely recommend staying here!

We loved being in walking distance to downtown restaurants after a day of driving to/from distillery tours. The room had all the essentials and then some. Would definitely stay again.

This is a perfect spot within walking distance of almost everything we wanted to do in Bardstown. A few of the distilleries are a few miles out but there was a great taxi service for those. The room itself was very nice with several thoughtful amenities.

The attention to every detail was wonderful. The place was lovely and exactly as described. You can walk to dinner, walk to have a cocktail and enjoy shopping along the way. We will certainly stay here again on our next trip to Bardstown.
