This spot was perfect for our family. From the moment we arrived the kids were in the water, swimming out to the dock, using the pedal boat, fishing, catching frogs and all around loving it. The cottage was perfect for our family of 4 and really had everything we needed. The owners reached out to welcome us and make sure we found everything we needed. The kids have already asked if we can go back next year.

We enjoyed our get away week at the cottage. It was exactly as advertised. Well equipped kitchen, clean and stocked with supplies. Lovely screened in porch with deck overlooking a quiet little lake. Great view of the changing autumn leaves from the master bedroom We would definitely rent this property again.

We spent 10 days in Loudon and to sum-up: perfect. We were a family with two kids (3 and 6) and had a wonderful time. The house is nice and fairly simple. Bathroom maybe the only drawback beeing rather small. Kitchen simple but up to meet any needs of an avid cook. Nice and cozy living room, two bright bedrooms. But it is all about the outside: great porch and deck with an amazing view of the lake. Well kept gardens nicely settled into the woods. Easy access to the lake with a small but very private own beach. Flat and therefore perfect for kids. The lake is small - maybe ten houses around it. In ten days we felt like completely alone - our privacy was never disturbed. Still Loudon, Concord, Canterbury Shaker Village, the NH lake region and the interstate are all close by. Lots own possibilities, restaurants and activities. We have traveled half the world before, but this place is capable to beat a lot.

What a difference a week makes! The leaves changed before our eyes. Rest and relaxation was at it's peak. Just a handful of properties surround the calming waters of Hothole Pond which kept things nice and quiet. Recreation, Dining, Shopping is literally minutes away but back at the pond life is much slower paced. Must be great year-round.

The pond house is cozy. Exactly what I was hoping for. We'll equipped, easy axxess to stores and shops. Comfortable even on the one rainy day. Swam, canoed .... wonderful.

Just spent a week in this lovely little cottage. Perfect size for us - two adults and two 13 yo girls. The kids spent most of their time either pedaling around the pond singing or swimming and sunning on the swim raft. We paddled the canoe (and our own kayak that we brought along), relaxed on the deck enjoying the afternoon, read in the hammock, played games at night... just peaceful as can be. Quick ride into Concord for some great restaurants, great shops, even got a golf game in. We had the pond to ourselves most days, with a few occasional fishermen - so nice to be away from the crowds. Cottage was clean and very well equipped - we made good use of the grill and enjoyed eating on the deck most nights! Beds were super comfy. Highly recommend if you are looking for a quiet getaway!

This lovely cottage by Hot Hole Pond is just perfect! My family and I spent a very happy week this past summer swimming, in the beautiful pond, soaking up the sun on the porch looking out at the pond and having an authentic New Hampshire summer experience. We explored the area and its lovely hiking trails, restaurants, and we especially loved the homemade ice-cream at the local ice-cream parlors. We highly recommend this cottage and we really appreciated working with Kathleen and her husband – they are extremely friendly, helpful and genuine people. Don’t miss out on this lovely vacation opportunity!

This is by far one of the loveliest places we have stayed on our travels. A quiet, beautiful lake setting, in a lovely cottage with all the amenities. We found the cottage easily and were able to get in with no fuss, and immediately we could sit down and relax on the full deck overlooking the lake. The cottage boasts a small "beachfront" going into "Hot Hole Pond", a clean and refreshing lake that is perfect for kids. The raft was a delight for my daughter, who pretty much spent the entire week out there, jumping into the water. The paddle boat and canoe was also a big hit for all of us, we spent a lot of time out on the water enjoying the lake's serenity. Kathleen called on the first day to ensure we arrived ok, and that everything was to our satisfaction - which it was. We enjoyed the coziness of the cottage, and a gorgeous master bedroom overlooking the lake. The yard was private and beautifully manicured, where we could enjoy peace and quiet in the hammock. We will definitely look into returning here! Loudon is close to Concord for all the groceries and shopping you need. We also enjoyed some of the host's recommendations for area activities. We loved staying here!

A wonderful experience! We found this property by total chance and what a find. A very quiet and relaxing setting. The cottage was charming and spottless with all the conveniences of home. Every morning we woke up made coffee and were off on a paddle around the pond, at night enjoyed the patio overlooking the water. The owners were extemely accomodating and made sure we had everything we needed. They provided a great reference book of restaurants and attractions in the area that was very helpful. Highly reccommend this property for your vacation!

What made this vacation so wonderful for us? Was it the inviting pond and sandy beach? The wonderfully decorated house, the cool summer breeze and the peaceful, secluded location?
