Very attentive, friendly and helpful manager. You can enjoy beautiful nature, rabbits, hens, fish, garden and woods nearby. We had excellent experience here.

Loved this house, was so perfect for our time in Ithaca, central to everywhere we needed to be. Michelle communicated wonderfully. Will reccommend!

Our party of 6 was cozy in this well-appointed farmhouse. We enjoyed an easy ride to Cornell campus & downtown Ithaca during graduation weekend. The owner Michelle was super friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the treat of farm fresh eggs and a beautiful setting and during some downtime we played the vinyl records and games that came with the house.

This sweet little farmhouse is exactly as described, only better. It's tucked away on a property with a main house, an octagonal hut and a yurt. Our morning walks included a wildflower field and the nature preserved (forest) that were literally in the backyard (waterfalls and all)! Michelle has a knack for decore that is both minimalistic and whimisical. The location is private and off the beaten path, but close to incredible local hikes, Ithaca and Watkins Glen. We treasured our time here and hope to return. Being able to bring our two dogs was especially wonderful.

The location and layout of the house was perfect for our group. The owners we kind, helpful and gave us lots of waterfalls to tour. We will come back.

Wonderful spot — a simple modern farmhouse with many essentials! Described as a farmhouse gem — this spot is a gem indeed. Quiet, relaxing home just a short drive from downtown Ithaca. This home made a great jumping off spot for exploring the area around Ithaca and Cayuga Lake. Host, Michelle, was delightful to connect with and quick to respond to any questions. Sincerely hope to visit this property again, make more Fingerlakes memories, and enjoy long walks in the neighboring preserve.

The farmhouse is in a great location. Short drive to Downtown Ithaca, with Buttermilk and Treman State Parks right around the corner. The farmhouse is clean and comfortable, with a pellet stove that kept the entire house cozy (even when the snow arrived!). Michelle is a wonderful host! She is friendly, available when needed, and gave us some excellent activity recs. We appreciated that everything was eco-friendly, from the natural soaps and lotions to the compost at the top of the property. We would highly recommend renting here!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this quaint old farmhouse. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen was well supplied. The one thing missing in the kitchen is a microwave for reheating leftovers. The listing pretty well sums up the amenities, though I would caution folks that getting into the gorge to find waterfalls is not easy—the trail is a bit of a scramble and not for anyone who is in any way challenged with mobility issues or adequate footwear. Once you’re in the gorge, be prepared to get your feet wet if you plan on hiking any significant length of it. Also, while this rental is dog friendly, be aware there is a neighbor’s dog who runs free around the property. He’s friendly, but he does bark at strangers, and if your own dog has any aversion to other dogs, that could be an issue. The property owner was very easy to communicate with, and she lives right next door if any questions come up. Overall, a great place to stay for those who enjoy country living.

We had a lovely stay in the cottage. The wood burning stove and open layout created a cozy atmosphere for reading and relaxing. The rolling hills and wooded terrain were beautiful to behold. A short drive to Ithaca, we found lots of great food and culture. If you like to cook head to Wegman's Grocery. The well equipped kitchen made it easy to make a nice meal. we will be back!
