Thoughtful layout, helpful hosts, beautiful environment.

Owl Moon Cottage truly made our visit to the Ithaca area memorable. Impeccably thought-out space with everything you could need, well maintained cottage and grounds with an inviting & warm atmosphere. Quick, scenic drive into town or nearby gorges, waterfalls and trails. Not to mention Joanna & Arthur are perfect hosts. We would recommend Owl Moon to anyone and it will definitely be on the top of our list the next time we are in town!

A week after our stay and thinking of Owl Moon Cottage makes me feel instantly calm. Perfect location, lovely cottage. Every good thing everyone else has said is true. Looking forward to returning.

This cottage is absolutely beautiful and our host was very welcoming and helpful. We had all the comforts possible, including A/C during a week of very hot weather, and the porch was the perfect place to unwind and experience the sounds of nature and the nightly display of fireflies. We are birders (birdwatchers), and we saw and heard more interesting birds right here on the porch than anywhere else we went on this trip (indigo bunting! bald eagle! northern flicker!) If you like gardening, be sure to ask Art if he is willing to show you his amazing garden. We highly recommend Owl Moon cottage for people who love and value nature!

Owl Moon Cottage was just as described - spotless clean and meticulously maintained. The cabin was perfect for our family of four as we explored the Ithaca area. We enjoyed walking to Lucifer Falls from the cabin. We also enjoyed eating our meals on the deck surrounded by nature. The hosts were very attentive, and the area is beautiful and quiet. We could not have asked for a better place to stay.

I found Owl Moon cottage on Vrbo as a place where several old high school friends from out West and I could gather for a mini reunion and tour this beautiful part of the state. Our hosts, Joanna and Art, are genuinely kind, thoughtful and caring, and were as excited as we were for our reunion! The cabin is WONDERFUL, beautifully built, tastefully decorated, clean, classy, better equipped than my own kitchen, with ample and comfortable furniture, quality bedding and towels. It is a private oasis in the woods where everything and more has been thought of to make one’s stay pleasant, fun and memorable. Though the purpose of our visit was to enjoy and visit wineries, museums, parks, all of which are minutes away, we could not wait to come “home” to prepare a meal and sit out on the deck to listen to the sounds of silence, save for the beautiful bird songs and the hoot of an owl. Thank you for a most delightful, fun, relaxing and comfortable stay at Owl Moon Cottage. We add meeting you to the best of memories of our mini reunion in Newfield, NY. Thank you.

Our stay was very relaxing and the cabin is just the right size . Very nice owners and close to all the waterfalls/ hiking . Nice to wake up to the birds singing. Thanks again

My husband and I spent two wonderful and relaxing days at Owl Moon cottage. Easy drive into Ithaca. Sitting on the deck watching sunrise. The quiet is refreshing.
