This cottage was perfect size for our family of four. We caught trout fly fishing on the river in front of the house. Tons of hiking and exploring waterfalls. Everything is 20-45 minute drive to get to. Tons to do, we want to come back!

This is a very nice place to stay, completely as advertised. Well equipped kitchen. We planned to eat out some but cooked every meal instead because of the nice kitchen and view of the creek below.

We had a great time in Brevard and enjoyed our stay at the cottage. It was nicely decorated and very clean. We loved the access to the creek down at the bottom of the hill. They provided everything that we needed for a comfortable stay.

It was a treat to discover our cottage was located so close to a little tributary and local fishing. The cottage itself was authentically “mountain”, nicely decorated, and commodious. We “car hiked” every day, visiting surrounding towns, and read a lot. We aren’t Direct TV customers so watching TV, other than our favorite news stations, wasn’t part of our schedule. We enjoyed our week.

Enjoyed a 4 night stay at the cabin which was exactly as described. Great outdoor space with fireplace on the screened in porch! Spent most of the time on the porch. The cabin was clean & well equipped... you'll enjoy the shower as well with super water pressure. Katherine was easy to correspond with. Was our first trip to the area, loved it!

Beautiful property that was reasonably clean inside. Old and dirty rugs, throw blankets and pillows that don't appear to have been washed. Stained upholstery on furniture. Inspects galore inside and out. Many fruit flys and we opened our luggage when we got home to find spiders...now I know where that ugly bite came from. The candle outside burned down to the wick. I bought a new one trying to make the best of it but so many insects inside the screened porch that I lit it for just moment before I left. The most disappointing was the state of the porches. Very dirty and the lower half loaded with bees nests and covered in debris. Tried lighting the fireplace but smoke was coming out into the porch.

A lovely little cabin with everything you'll need! The porch overlooking the river with fireplace is a perfect spot to curl up and read a good book.

We really enjoyed our stay at this house. It was a little remote with little to no cell service in the immediate area, but we stayed busy and only turned the TV on only one morning to watch the news over an 8 day stay. We timed the trip just right for fly fishing . We caught brook, brown and rainbow trout. We also visited lots of waterfalls at Pisgah and DuPont, and booked a guide to take us rock climbing for the first time. That was probably the highlight of the trip. Breviard (my favorite) and Hendersonville were great little day trips to shop and grab some food. Hendersonville had an awesome Pinball museum that you can play all day for $12. Our entire family loved it. Lastly, the internet connection was better than I expected. I ran an internet speed test and got about 70 mbps. If you are looking for a remote place to stay that is 20-40 minutes from other attractions, this is a great place to stay.

Second time staying here, and can’t wait to visit again. Beautiful location, awesome porch situation, soothing sounds of the river close by, nice clean quaint house, and not far from Brevard.

My husband and son had a fantastic trip. The cabin is so peaceful with the sounds of the river right outside. The fishing is excellent, cabin comfortable, we look forward to returning one day.
