This house is in a terrific location that is beside a public pool and large community playground. Lots of walkers, joggers, and dog walkers in this quiet, shady neighborhood. You can walk to downtown, or it is a super short drive. Beware that the pool is currently only open on weekends and we never got to use it during our stay, so check the website for Franklin Park and Pool. The house was very clean and comfortable. The full kitchen is a great feature, and there is a huge grocery store nearby. The non-stick pans were terrible, so we did not use those. There is a nice Weber charcoal grill in the backyard. The bath towels were the best I've ever used in a rental home and I want to buy some just like them for my house! The owner responded within minutes to my question about the pool, and the owners live next door so it should not be a problem if you have questions. We would stay here again.

This was the perfect house for our family of five with kids aged 2-6. The house looks out over an amazing park, playground, and city pool, and downtown is just a few minutes away. We spent most mornings and evenings playing on the screened in porch or front yard. We walked downtown almost every day for a meal or activity. Gorges State Park, DuPont State Forest, and the Pisgah National Forest are all a short drive away. We loved this house and hope to come back.

Can’t say enough wonderful things about this adorable cottage! Walk to downtown Brevard, coffee on porch, wine at night and perfect shopping!!!! Can’t wait to return!

We stayed here to check out the area for possible places to move. The town is nice and quiet and our son loved playing on the playground right across the street. There’s lots of cute shops to check out in Downtown (which you can walk to from the house). The house is cute, with tasteful decorations. Pisgah forest is only about a 10 minute drive and there are tons of hikes and waterfalls. 10/10 recommend.

We loved our time here, the small-town feel, and close to great outdoor adventures!

Location is great, within walking distance of downtown. The abundance of white squirrels around the park next door is a plus.

The cottage was very clean, spacious and within walking distance to downtown Brevard. Also an excellent location for hiking at DuPont, Gorges and Pisgah NF. Robert was very responsive to questions. We would definitely stay again.

Nice comfortable house with great front porch. Close to the center of town easy walk. Host are very helpful in accommodating.

One level home. Perfect!
