Great relaxing place, very clean, and comfortable.
We come to Oak Island to visit family every year. We really enjoyed this home on the beach. It is very clean, cozy, and great location. My family had a great time...hopefully we can rent this home again in the future. The owner, Beatrice is very nice, she just had finished redecorating the home and a deep cleaning. It was great! Beatrice "Thank you for allowing us to be a part of your favorite place on earth"...I can't wait to meet you some day. You have such kindness in your voice. :)

Location! Location! Location!
My family and I stayed here for our vacation. We couldn't have asked for a more convenient location. It is right on the beach and offers beautiful views. This place definitely makes you forget your worries. We enjoyed ourselves and highly recommend. Thank you Beatrice for letting us enjoy your beautiful getaway!

Perfect Cottage on the Beach
This place was a perfect getaway for me and my husband. The beach was beautiful, access was easy and the cottage was perfect. It's comfortable and welcoming. Love the décor...it was light and refreshing...a place you want to relax, enjoy a cup of coffee and read a good book with an amazing view of the ocean!
We'll definitely be back!

Excellent Views
My family and I enjoyed our stay this past weekend. The views are spectacular. You truly get a 180 degree view. You can sit on the porch and watch the sunrise coming across the Oak Island Lighthouse and sit and watch the sunset in the evenings. The property was very cozy and inviting. Thank you for opening up your place to us and your kind hospitality.

We absolutely loved it!
Everything was just perfect!! What a wonderful peaceful spot you have there - catching both the sunrise and the sunset every day. On one day we had plans to go somewhere else but we had to abandon those plans and stay there because the patio was just too inviting to leave on that day. And the stars at night too - very beautiful. There was a little bit of a chill in the wind - we expected that - but it was warm enough to enjoy without having to bundle up too much. We loved it and hated to leave. Thank you so much for everything - it was everything we were hoping for :)

I absolutely agree. The sunrises and sunsets from this cottage are breathtaking! And, I have traveled to many, many countries and I have never seen such a beautiful view of the Milky Way at night. I often find it hard to leave the cottage, even though there are so many exciting places to visit very nearby. In November and December the weather is still quite warm, but a jacket is usually a good idea. We are so pleased that you enjoyed your stay and the magic of this special place.

Perfect in every way!
A view of the sunrise every morning and sunset in the evening. Sit on the deck and watch the ocean waves, the pelicans dive for fish or the dolphins play in the water. Walk just a few steps to the sand and the beach that has a wide variety of collectable seashells.
Ocean front, yet private cottage.
The interior was beautifully decorated and the owner was always available to answer any questions or take care of any needs. We are already reviewing our calendar to see when we can go back. It was very hard to leave this lovely, peaceful cottage. We will definitely visit again!

It still takes my breath away the way those pelicans fly right over our deck! And, watching them dive like that right in front of our cottage is just stunning. It is like an African safari from the comfort of your porch. We have a great team of people who are there to help our guests have a smooth stay. Also, I found 8 sanddollars. You have to go right at low tide and head toward the light house. Do come back. Sincerely Beatrice & Randy

Perfect location and wonderful views.
This beachfront cottage has views of the pier and the lighthouse, not to mention the beautiful sunsets can be seen from the beachfront deck. The house is very well appointed and comfortable. I would love to return for a longer visit and would definitely recommend this place to friends.

Excellent cottage in perfect location.
We enjoyed our stay at this cottage. The location is ideal for a day at the beach and it is within an easy stroll of two restaurants. Also, the cottage does have a new washer and dryer, a dishwasher, and AC. Southport and the ferry to Bald Head Island are within a short drive.

We are so glad that you had a wonderful time. This place is really magical! I think I never can get quite used to watching that lighthouse light up our beach. And the Flying Fish Cafe is just fine oceanfront dining! And, it is just blocks away.

Fabulous and quiet location with amazing views.....
We rented this little piece of paradise for a family get away for the Thanksgiving holiday. We had beautiful weather and a great time. Enjoyed the local restaurants and spent one day in South port. Even our dog Bella enjoyed the trip. Nice place to go and relax. Would definitely rent again.

Patti, spending a holiday at the coast is my favorite thing to do. I enjoyed both Christmas, New Years and Easter this year. The comment you made to me that stands out the most is that our cottage is cozy. You said you felt comfortable and at home the minute you arrived. Yes, the views are stunning, but feeling right at home in the "views" is the best feeling! I am glad you enjoy Thanksgiving at our cottage.

The absolute most magical day trips are to take the ferry from Southport to Bald Head Island or Fort Fisher and the Aquarium. At Bald Head, rent a golf cart and see the whole place—just amazing. If history is your passion, there are war forts at Fort Caswell, minutes away. We are pet friendly-small dogs (under 60 lbs). Myrtle Beach is great for shopping and visit the battleship in Wilmington.
