Great cabin and location!

We enjoyed our time at Backside of the Moon (cool name by the way!) We were celebrating our 10 year anniversary and wanted somewhere pretty and relaxing. We got both! The surrounding area was beautiful and very remote. We had a view from the front porch rockers and also enjoyed the variety of hammocks down below. We couldn’t get over how nice and cool the weather was for mid July! We especially loved the hot tub. We also had fun in the downstairs game room playing pool and ski ball. The only complaints we had were the shower was slow to drain and the bed was squeaky when you rolled over. We found everything we needed in the kitchen and then some. It was so nice that the coffee and sugar were provided and even several snacks. We enjoyed hiking, kayaking, and went to several resturants although it was a little drive to get anywhere. The booklet with resturant recommendations was helpful. We enjoyed our stay and have great memories from our trip!

This location was perfect for our girls trip. It immediately felt like home. Plenty of space for all of us with two bathrooms and three bedrooms. We didn’t cook much on this trip but the kitchen is very well stocked with everything that you would need. Beautiful views to enjoy our coffee on the front porch in the mornings. Enjoyed relaxing in the hammock and hammock swings off the lower level. Private secluded hot tub for relaxing just a few steps outside the back door. We will definitely have to stay here again.

Nice cabin, nice view

Great for our family. Beautiful view! They definitely want you to enjoy yourself. It was lovely. Excellent communication. Thank you!

Only problem was the hot tub was so hot we couldn’t enjoy it. It was cold and snowing and we really wanted to enjoy the outdoor hot tub, but couldn’t turn the temperature down.

We had such an amazing stay. The owners even helped us out when our car battery died. Definitely reccomend!

This cabin is absolutely perfect! The location is exactly what we wanted. It’s secluded in the middle of the woods with a great view. The cabin is so homey and cozy. It was clean and had all necessary things for a weekend stay. The hot tub was definitely the best part. I loved how it is right outside the master bedroom’s door. The game room downstairs was really fun and gave our kids plenty of fun things to do away from a screen. My husband and I had booked the cabin for a getaway weekend but due to a last minute change, we ended up having to bring our boys (ages 7, 10, and 11). This cabin was perfect for our kids and us. It is an ideal place for couples or families. We can’t wait to come back. Thank you for a wonderful weekend!

Nice quiet place

The cabin felt like home, so cozy. The views from the porch were fantastic. The downstairs play area kept the adults and the 2 year old entertain. Perfect family getaway.
