The view is great; cottage a little tired but comfortable
The situation of and view from the Tiltin' Hilton cottage is fabulous. West Coast cottages are a real getaway. You are minutes from small cafes and the two marinas but best of all, a short drive or bike ride to Botannical Beach and the forest trails around it. Shorts trails but absolutely breathtaking in terms of scenery. The cottage was comfortable and we had our dog with us which all worked out well. There is just too much old stuff around inside and on the deck like endless sea shells, driftwood, rocks, and fake flowers, and decor in general. Needs clutter and outside stuff taken away, for sure. Also needs some better living room chairs and updated kitchen utensils, etc. The pictures show a sleek, uncluttered place but it's not.

Thank you Caroline for your comment, I will be sharing your comment with the owners. Often there will be a couple sea shells, and or driftwood, and find that overtime, guests keeps adding to it. That happened in our cottage, so I needed to uncluttered it too. I will go have a look, and will let the owner know about the living room chairs and utensils.

peaceful and relaxing.
We stayed in this cabin just for a weekend and it was the perfect getaway for us and our 2 dogs. Very well stocked with every amenity we could want. Great views and a very quiet setting. Highly recommended.
