Unit 10 is a fully furnished studio/efficiency. The unit has a queen size bed, living/dining table with four chairs. It has a fully equipped kitchen, and a private bathroom (toilet, sink and shower). All dishes, pots and pans, towels and linens are provided (not Beach/Pool towels). A quiet Mini-Split AC will keep you cool at all times. Smart TV and 100 Mb WiFi. The studio has a front porch with two chairs and a small table. It has a small front yard with tropical plants and has its own gas-BBQ grill and picnic table with a large umbrella for shade.
This unit accommodates two adults.
Optional: Dock space for boats up to 25 feet, Fee $25/day to home owners association

Stay in Grassy Key
Older neighborhood nice and quite. It was basically a trailor park with a few units that's not a trailor home.
We liked the neighborhood.
I assumed the unit was fully stocked. It had only 3 wash clothes for 7 days, 6 nights, 2 people. There is a washer and dryer a street or two over, i didnt want to wash towels everyday, however.
I assumed since it said 50 yards from the beach, there would be a beach where I could walk into the ocean, swim and lay out, it was not.
The unit had a lot of bugs, I believe they were tiny ants, there were a lot of ant traps in there. The unit needs a deep, detailed cleaning.
Overall, liked the neighborhood, it was very quite, believe there should be more wash clothes and towels or state in the paperwork those items are limited. Unit needs a detailed cleaning. Shouldn't list 50 yards from beach as most of us assume we are in walking distance of laying on the beach. (This was not true).

Our description of appartment is correct, it states 50 yards from OCEAN (nowhere do we claim that there is a beach)

Our rental units are located in a home-owners-park consisting of 64 vacation homes for snow-birds. We have a mixture of million dollar homes with ocean view and more modest homes. None are allowed to rent (only our units are legal rental units).

Our housekeeper is a professional and she takes great pride in her cleaning service. All other guest over past 12 years praise her, see other reviews.

Tiny ants are very common in south florida.When they do, we put out some ant-traps and they go away after a few weeks. It is not a big deal.
Again, we never claim that we are 50 yards from a beach, we are 50 yards from the ocean, if you desire to visit a beach, there are 3-4 beaches within 10-30 min drive.

What a great place to stay! Thanks to Hans for giving us the tour. Such a wonderful location everything is close to you. Great fishing there also. All the extra touches are included in this gem!

Clean, comfortable apartment
We really enjoyed staying in this cozy apartment.The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking, the bed was comfortable, and the outside area was lovely.
Hans responded quickly to my inquiries and was very accommodating. The location is excellent for exploring the Keys.

Perfect for us
Our rental worked out great. We explored the Keys north and south from Marathon. Our "base" was attractive, clean, and thoughtfully equipped for our stay.
