All accommodation features individual fire pit/BBQ although you will need to bring your own charcoal. Also your own table and chairs although there is a communal area for those who come as a group.

We have just returned from our second stay at Bluecaps Farm, and it was just as brilliant as the last visit. We stayed in the bell tent.
The bell tent is lovely! It is spacious, kept very clean and has all you could need!
We have two children who absolutely love it here! The location is peaceful and you can feel safe with the children running about. There are horses, rabbits and lamars to see. We went for a lovely walk through the surrounding woodland, and there are some beautiful views.
We visited Bewl Water, 5 minutes up the road, which I would highly recommend as it also has some amazing views, and lots of fun for the children.
Tina is a great host who is very kind and helpful, and always on hand if needed.
We will be returning!

Weekend away
We recently stayed in the Poppy cabin which was very cosy and compact. The cabin has all the essentials however little details such as salt and pepper would’ve been very much appreciated as other things such as tea and coffee were provided. Also a smaller pot would’ve been handy. Tina is a brilliant host and made us feel very welcome and left us to our own devices, however was always on hand if we needed anything. The location is very peaceful and only a short drive to nearby towns with a local supermarket. Shower room and toilet block were very clean and shower was lovely and powerful. The only reason this isn’t a 5 star is due to the time of year as I feel it is more of a seasonal trip and would have loads of potential late spring to summer time. Also local attractions were also not yet all running due to the time of year and we would’ve loved to have tried a llama walk. All in all we would love to return in the summer.

Amazing
So ... we stayed in Poppy and we’ve had an amazing weekend, if you want to get away from the hustle and bustle this has got to be one of the best retreats in the country ..... you feel like there’s nobody for miles around and Tina is absolutely lovely and always at hand to assist ..... will definitely be revisiting !!! Thanks for an incredible weekend : The Compton’s

Great weekend stay
Came and stayed with my cousin and his family. Facilities were good and everything was in very good condition. Nice to have wood provided for evening fires too. Local pub did gebuinely good south American food (Old Vineyard) which was a pleasant surprise. Stay at Bluecaps was good value too compared to other options a short drive from London. We'll be back.

Weekend break
We stayed over a weekend, so quite and stress free, bed so comfy and shower was amazing,a wonderful weekend, tina the owner was pleasant and accommodating

Brilliant Stay
We have just had an amazing stay at Bluecaps Farm and we will definitely be returning!
We stayed in the Bell Tent with our two children who are 8 and 3 and we all loved our stay! The tent is a great size and beautifully done inside. It is very clean and has all you could need for your stay.
The surrounding area is also lovely. The animals are all friendly and the children really enjoyed interacting with them.
The shower/toilet facilities and very clean and close by.
We will be returning for another fun family break!
A big thank you to Tina who is very welcoming and helpful.

Glamping with llamas!
We spent a fabulous bank holiday weekend at Bluecaps and will definitely be back! The shepherd’s huts are adorable and extremely well kitted out. We stayed in the lovely Forget-me-not and there was plenty of room for a family with two teens, they were grateful for the power supply and my husband and I appreciated the welcoming bottle of wine! There is everything you could conceivably need including powered coolbox and a little wood burning stove. The communal showers/toilets are also clean and well maintained. The field is quiet and secluded and our llama neighbours were a delight. We were so excited to meet crias (babies) Iris & Ivan when we arrived and totally blown away when two more (Idris & Isaac) were born during our stay. We hope that Lavender is now delivered safely of her cria too. We lit a campfire and bbq’d over it on the first night and had a delicious meal at a nearby pub, The Vineyard, on the second. We also hired bikes and cycled around nearby Bewl Water - all 13 miles of it! - stopping at another excellent pub (The Bull) for lunch. The highlight of our stay was the llama walk around the delightful lanes with Tina our friendly and knowledgeable host. Visit Bluecaps - you won’t be disappointed!

Yes Lavender has had her baby now and it was another boy which we have called Ian! A bit random I know, but was my daughter's idea. If you come back at some point you will meet him and get to see the smiley face on his neck. It's hilarious - he has 2 eyes, a nose and mouth firmly printed on the back of his neck and it's a definite smiley face ! :-) Best wishes, Tina xx

Cosy retreat
I think I could get used to glamping! The Sunflower hut had everything we needed and it was so cosy with the wood burning stove. It really was like staying in a miniature cottage. Thanks Tina!

Lovely winter break
We spent two nights in Poppy shepherd’s hut last week and very much enjoyed our stay. The weather was sunny but freezing cold, so the wood-burner was essential and definitely kept us warm and cozy all evening and throughout the night. The bed was comfy and the duvet lovely and warm. We cooked in the hut both evenings and had all the cooking equipment we needed. The slow-cooker was especially useful.
The plug-in freezer box was adequate but a small fridge would probably be better, especially in the summer. The bathroom was adequate, although very cold, but fine once you were under the hot shower. All facilities were spotlessly clean.
It was lovely to wake up to the sound of a woodpecker in the woods and to see the stars at night with no light pollution. A truly peaceful place to stay.
We had lunch at The Vineyard, Lamberhurst, which was lovely. We visited Scotney Castle, Bodiam Castle, Bewl reservoir and even got to Hastings to see the new pier - all within a reasonable driving distance.
Such a beautiful area full of pretty villages and hidden gems, and Blue Caps is in a great location from which to explore.

January really not the right month, ground was so muddy, due to lots of rain. We actually only stayed one night as my husband was to unwell to stay the whole weekend. Would only ever go again in the summer. Not a bad place but really not for us. The only thing I didn't agree with was The price of the breakfast, not worth the £12 price. Overall a nice cozy little hut

We're sorry you weren't very happy with your stay with us, but like you say, January is not the best time to go glamping, because, at the end of the day, the accommodation is in a field which suits everybody generally as it is so secluded. With that comes its own problems of course with Winter weather. We're also sorry that you were disappointed with the breakfast. Mostly everybody raves about it and wants to buy Paula's homemade sausages and also the local apple juice - still - horses for courses.
