We were lucky to have found the 55 Hide Hill property in Berwick Upon Tweed. The flat was in a central location, was gorgeous, clean, very spacious and had all the extra amenities we appreciated, such as a washer and dryer, a well-appointed kitchen and a convenient parking spot. This flat was the best we had in our trip to England and Scotland.

Overall a very nice property very clean and modern. Great location and excellent host in Vera. Will hope to return in the near future.

This could be a very good apartment but little things let it down. Would take very little to fix.
1. On arrival the apt was set up for 2 people(2 towels 3 cups) even though our booking was for 4. We couldn't contact the person who was supposed to be our contact. Eventually tried the booking office no and got a reponse and sorted.
2. There were only 3 mugs, we got 2 more but there should have been 6 or 8 anyway. There were at least 18 glasses!
3. Only 1 or 2 bulbs working in both light fittings that should have 6 bulbs.
4. No lights working at all over hob and cooking area, and cooker hood not working though all very clean and new looking.
5. A hair dryer in bathroom but no where to plug it in. No mirrors in either bedroom. Only mirrors in bathroom or lounge so nowhere to see what you were doing.
6 . Welcome bottle of wine, very good, but some milk would have been good for a cuppa first.
7. No 'house book' with how to work things. We managed except cooker hood & lights which we decided didn't work. Note on were nearest convenience store was for basics would have been useful.
The apartment itself is very nice and clean and modern but all these little things are a niggle and so easily fixed.

Nice but noisy
Lovely flat – really nicely decorated and spacious. Really well positioned in terms of being close to the centre of town and the amenities – the downside about that positioning was being right by a bottle bank and also traffic noise.
