Away for a few days and couldn’t have picked a lovelier cottage. Extremely clean with everything you want to hand. Lovely log fire and a fully stocked kitchen if you do decide to cook. Great garden for your early morning cuppa and wine in the evening. Julie the owner is wonderful and a lovely tray laid up for when we arrived with milk in the fridge. Visited Wells and Dunster castle. Can highly recommend the cottage and will be back next year.

We booked Quantock cottage for four of us coming to a friends and family reunion in the village. Julie, the host, was so kind and helpful. Everything we needed was there and we enjoyed drinks in the garden, cooking some lovely meals and relaxing on the big, comfy sofas. The local shops are so handy for anything you need and walks on the Quantocks and exmoor were wonderful. We will be back!

Had a fabulous stay, such a lovely cottage with a lot of character and very welcoming. Only downside was we didn’t stay long enough, would definitely return.

Lovely cottage, well equipped & in a great location to explore the Somerset coast. We stayed with our 2 little dogs- the garden is completely secure so we could leave the back door open and let them wander in and out. The host Julie couldn’t be any more helpful. We really enjoyed our stay. Parking was a little difficult as no off-road parking available so we had to unload the car and then move down the end of the road. Mobile signal isn’t great in the village so would benefit from WiFi. We would definitely recommend this cottage & host.

This was a last minute booking for a 4 night get away and what a wonderful cottage it is. Really well equipped, Fab shower for an old cottage and really cosy with the beautiful inglenook fire. We did not want to leave! Neither did the dog!! It’s a great location for exploring. You MUST go to Porlock Weir and Lynmouth. Beautiful coastal villages. All in all a wonderful short break and would return in a heartbeat. Thank you

Wonderful little cottage with real cosy home feel. Everything needed for a comfortable stay and added touches with milk, tea, coffee and biscuits on arrival. Ideal location in a lovely quiet little village with spar and local shop only 2min walk and supermarkets short drive. We went to dunster castle which was fabulous only 30min drive. Weston super mere also wonderful trip only 45min ish drive. Town of Taunton only 10min drive. Really enjoyed our mini U.K. break and will definitely stay here again when visiting south west

Spent a lovely nine nights at Quantock cottage. The cottage feels steeped in history, while still feeling large and airy. It also has a large, well maintained garden with furniture. The cottage was spotless upon arrival and very welcoming. It is located in a quiet, friendly village and has beautiful views from the bedroom window. There’s even a castle (ruin) about a fifteen minute walk away! From the cottage we visited Cheddar Gorge and Wookey Hole, both around an hours drive away. We also visited Torre cider farm about half an hour away which my little boy loved as there some farm animals and a very nice cafe. We also went fossil hunting at Kilve, a ten minute drive away. Sadly, no luck finding fossils but on the upside it gives us a great excuse to return! There was loads more we could have done but we ran out of time to do everything. We have booked to go back again as we loved the cottage and the surrounding areas so much and we still have lots to see. Can’t wait! Highly recommended and very reasonably priced.

An amazing cottage that has all essentials and is extremely cozy. We stayed here over New year in a party of four with a small dog and could not speak highly enough. Great location with some amazing walks nearby and a very lovely pub just down the road. Thank you Julie, we will look forward to staying again in the future.

The photos do not do this cottage justice! Plenty of space for 4, but still warm and cosy! We all loved the fire and fell asleep many evenings on the comfortable sofas! Comfortable beds and enough space in the garden for our 4 legged friend too. We hope to be back again, thank you to the host Julie.

Lovely cottage with a nice enclosed garden to sit in and safe for the dog. Good location for exploring the surrounding area, quiet village setting. The best I’ve stayed in so far.
