Great value for your money, perfect!! Five Stars!

Loved our visit to the lake beautiful setting and lovely home. Host Kathy and Steve were great. We brought our dog Bella and she had a ball swimming in lake . Hope to go back again next summer for a week and if we do we would definitely rent a boat for at least 4 days.

We were looking for a getaway to relax and we found the perfect place. It was quiet, and chill, and pretty. Exactly as advertised. We hope to be back.

The hosts, Steve and Kathy are the best hosts ever. The description does not do the house justice. It is beautiful. The master bedroom is spacious. The bed is very comfortable. The dock deck is magnificent. Right in the river with a top deck that is very comfortable. Good chairs with umbrella Bottom deck is covered by the top deck. Great in the rain. Kathy has many bird houses that attract the most beautiful birds. Great to sit on the full length porch and drink morning coffee and watch all the colorful birds. We want to rent for a longer time next year! Judy and Ken

The house was nice and clean. Steve and Kathy were great, we had car issue and Steve recommended where to get repaired and gave me ride back and forth. Really nice and peaceful and we recommend this house.

As others have reviewed previously... the posted pictures do not do the property justice. The house is perfect for a couple (we also brought our two small dogs) with every amenity. We brought kayaks, which were easily launched from the 2-story dock. (we kayaked on a Saturday afternoon and there wasn't a lot of speed boat traffic, which was pleasantly surprising!) We had snacks and drinks on the top level of the dock one night and watched the sun set.. (lovely!) The property is far from 'nightlife, etc' (which is fine with us!) and I recommend going to the grocery store (and stocking up) before you arrive, as it is a bit of a drive... There is also a lot of state parks and hiking nearby... Lots to do if you want the outdoors and to relax!

This was the perfect cottage for the two of us and our dog! It was actually even nicer than the pictures. The hosts were fabulous and very welcoming! I highly recommend this darling cottage and looking forward to staying again!!
