We had 11 family members ranging from 13 to 52 and had plenty of room. The house was laid out perfect for everyone to have their own space. The location was easy to get to with an incredible view of the lake. The dock had plenty of room for 2 boats plus all of our toys with plenty of parking. The home was stock with more than what we needed which was a plus since we forgot a few things at home. The game room was a big hit for us and the kids. We will definitely be back. Best vacation rental we have had so far. Thank you Reese's for allowing us to stay in your beautiful home and being great host.

Over the years we’ve stayed in numerous VRBO properties . . . This home was one of the best. The house and the property are beautiful. Our group of six adults (parents and four grown kids) had a blast. It’s on a great part of the lake - and, if you arrive via Blackjack Rd and Hickory Trail, be prepared for a roller coaster drive (in the best way). The drive goes up, over, and down some big hills with twisty, hairpin turns for fun. Be cautious though, there’s more than one family of deer in the area. The home’s layout takes advantage of every square inch of available space. The furniture is casual, there’s plenty of seating, and it’s comfortable - not at all fussy . . . so we got into vacation mode right away. The loft has a pull-out sofa, a smart-TV, and a card table. We played cards and watched movies up there a couple of the nights. The kitchen is well-stocked and easy to navigate. We cooked every night. A big table easily seats more than our six, so there weren’t any elbow battles at dinner. The bedrooms and baths are away from the living space - which is great when some are staying up late while others get some shuteye. The screened in porch is right off the dining area and is large enough to have dinner outside (weather permitting) or just hang out - or, have brutally long games of Trivia Pursuit or Uno Flip. The lower level has a great game/social area - with a huge TV and Nintendo (which was the source of a lot of noisy fun) after sun-time. There’s a pool table that converts to a ping-pong table. The bedrooms are a good size and the laundry room is tucked away - again, keeping the noise away from sleepers. The walk to the dock is comfortable, compared to some properties on Lake Hartwell, the slope is a breeze. We rented a pontoon boat from Harbor Light Marina and tied it up to the large dock all week. It’s easy in, easy out. I think inexperienced boaters will be okay. Jay and Nicole were very responsive to our questions and were friendly and helpful before we arrived and while we were there. Highly recommended!

House generally met all requirements......Pathway to lake too steep and not well maintained...All surrounding houses had asphalt pavement and curves to offset steepness and allow a golf cart to be used.....Pool table is bad need of repairs.....(the pool table was one of our requirements....Screened in porch loaded with spider webs and ceiling fans not cleaned in some time......Parking was adequate for four vehicles.....Rest of house was enjoyable except no TV in midlevel living rooms or bedrooms.....Only two tvs for a four bedroom house with living room and game room............If pathway to lake was upgraded, we would consider another stay....Had a great time fishing and caught several nice bass, catfish and bream right off the dock...Owner communicated very well and answered all questions promtly and honestly..............

We had our immediate family and grand children. The lake was the big attraction. Swimming and diving off of the dock and the olympic size community swimming pool was also a favorite activity. We also rented a pontoon boat from Harbor Light Marina for 3 days and enjoyed exploring the lake islands and remote beaches.

We rented for 8 nights for a gift for our children & grandchildren. The home was spacious & comfortable. We loved the screen porch & all the little extras the owners provided. The communication was very good as well. We will recommend to friends and would love to stay again.

Enjoyed the house especially the porch and the dock. The layout of the main floor of the house is nice was plenty of room for my family of 6.

We chose this house to celebrate Easter weekend to be close to our daughter at UGA. We had family congregate here from Boston, NJ and Fla, along with our UGA "dawg." I had many questions about area and what house came with and Jay answered all of our questions! The layout of the home is great! For 19 year olds to 78 year old, this place made everyone happy. Everyone had more than enough room and room to spread out with privacy. Morning cups of joe on the screened porch, taking sone sun on the dock, watching the jet skiers and water skiers, sipping wine by the fire, playing some pool, fishing off the dock, and gathering and eating dinner on the porch and laughs at the long inside table with the Alexia music playing, made for an excellent weekend and retreat. The house has many thoughtful, personal touches that are so welcoming! What an fun, relaxing weekend to remember, including a fun easter egg hunt on the grounds! Home is on a quiet culdesac ,seems to be a safe neighborhood. This was our 1st stay in this area and we would definitely stay again! Also this is close to Clemson, 30 minutes, if you have a "Tiger."

This house was perfect for our trip with family- including two one year olds and a “good dog.” They had lots of kid-friendly cups/plates, high chair, pack n play, and bowls/bed for the dog too. No detail overlooked! The cozy home had nice updates like a screened in porch and fire pit. We used the boat lift and it was easy and convenient. The house is STOCKED with any board or card game you could imagine and a fun Wii system, ping pong/pool table. Load of books if you are one of the lucky ones who can sneak away on the dock swing and read. We will be back hopefully with warmer weather to enjoy the lake more!
