A unique double guest suite with private facilities within a quaint country cottage, located in the rural village of Long Crichel. With no near neighbours, the cottage is set off a quiet road and surrounded by a private wood, open countryside and surrounding farmland. The guest suite has its own entrance and is a self-contained annexe with its own terrace and dedicated garden area and access to a raised a lookout post which has a bistro table and chairs. The lookout post is the ideal spot to enjoy breakfast or a glass of fizz and watch the sun set, as it boasts the most beautiful views across the Cranborne Chase which is an Area of Outstanding natural beauty. The guest suite is warm and cosy with underfloor heating throughout (oak flooring in the bedroom and stone in the hall and ensuite). The suite boasts French doors which open to a terrace with your own table and chairs and a landscaped garden area for your leisure and enjoyment, complete with sun loungers for you to enjoy and relax in the sunshine. The accommodation comprises a beautifully decorated double Laura Ashley furnished bedroom with a hallway for boots and coats and a new luxury fitted private ensuite. A welcome tray is provided on arrival and includes tea, coffee, hot chocolate, milk, water, biscuits and fruit and optional refreshments can be purchased direct including champagne, wine, prosecco and beer. Facilities include, Wi-Fi, flat screen Smart TV, tiny fridge, kettle, toaster and microwave. Please note there is no kitchen area/sink and washing up will need to be done in the ensuite bathroom or left out side the suite to be returned clean). We can provide a locked area for bicycles. We have installed a lock box to ensure a hassle-free non contact check in and check out service for you, however, as you are situated next to our cottage, we are available should you need anything. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, the room will be cleaned on arrival however we are no longer offering a daily housekeeping service. About the host The cottage is our family home and is shared with my husband and our friendly dog, we enjoy the quiet life and are passionate about gardening and wildlife, and have many friendly birds visiting the bird feeders including friendly pheasants. We love the local area and can enhance your visit with our hiking and mountain biking recommendations and can offer suggestions of some of the best places to visit and things to do. We are also foodies and connoisseurs of the most excellent tried and tested restaurant recommendations nearby. As an independent event and travel agent, with destination planning my forte, to enhance your visit, I would be happy to tailor a visit to your requirements, please just give me a call and I would be happy to help. About the neighbourhood The Crichel estate extends to 10,000 acres of forest, meadow and woodland, bounded by the fields and orchards of neighbouring farms and is ideal for mountain biking, rambling and bird watching and exploring the area. This is a home away from home, in a lovely quiet location and is ideal for guests seeking a peaceful retreat away from it all.
