Fabulous home within walking distance of town central & lake
Our family of 5 adults thoroughly enjoyed the beauty and comfort of this gorgeous house with 3 air conditioned bedrooms and open terrace w/a small pool. The BIG bonus is we could walk to everything -- restaurants, cathedrals, city park, the lake front, etc. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen convenient, the maid and pool service was super! We went to the GPS office and met Elizabeth who was very helpful. We would highly recommend this home for convenience and charm.

Lack of maintenance and uncomfortable furniture
On arrival we had to air the house it had a strong odor. Also there was. No drinking water. We are 4 guests and there were only 3 towels one set of old folding chairs. The hammocks almost hit the floors. The soaking pool remainder cold. We did not have running watering in the morning for a few days. And no hot water for 3 days. After many complaints a plummet was sent and part of the sidewalk was broken and the filter and pipe were repaired. This morning I almost felt when I came out of my room. A pipe by the washer was liking and spill into the hallway. The stairs going to the upstairs bedroom, the riser is very stip dangerous to go up and down. The washing machine and dryer are partly broken and make a very very loud noise. We had workers consistatly every day of our stay. We now have plenty of towels drinking water a gift card for breakfast and our laundry is being done however we still have service people repairing stuff our time has been compromise we don't feel we been on vacation we should get partial refund for inconvenience this has cause us

Perfect Home Away From Home
I cannot recommend this house enough after spending an amazing week relaxing during our stay in Granada. There are 3 bedrooms with the master located upstairs with a view to Mombachu Volcano, there are 2 more bedrooms downstairs and all have AC. There were comments in other reviews about the water pressure, but we had no issues during our stay and found both the pressure and temperature perfect for our needs. The little terrace upstairs is perfect for having afternoon drinks and watching the sunset or your morning coffee. The stairs are a bit steep as noted in other reviews, but just take your time and use the handrail. There was everything you could need to prepare your own meals in the kitchen if you wanted, including a great supply of spices. The beds were comfortable and everything was spotlessly clean. With the doors closed and the AC on we had the perfect sleep with no noise or discomfort. The welcome basket with the basics for the first night was amazing, however if you come out of the house and turn left and walk down one block there is a mini market that has everything you could need, without having to go to town at all. All of the restaurants and the main part of town are no more than a leisurely 10 min walk. You can also buy fruit and bread from the vendors that come around morning and night right at your door. The staff at GPS are amazing and the few tiny maintenance issues that we had were attended to within hours. The house is cleaned daily and the pool a few times a week, so you can relax and not lift a finger and just relax.
I cannot recommend this casa enough and look forward to returning.

Huge villa, perfect for a group of friends or family.
Stayed in Granada at Casa Uzma for two nights with a group of friends and really enjoyed it. Located just a few minutes walk from local areas packed with street stalls during the day as well as pubs and restaurants at night. The villa is extreamly spacious with an amazing view of the Mombacho volcano from the outdoor seating area on the second floor. The area with the mini pool and hammock was a nice wind down spot and the rooms were comfy. I love to cook so was quite pleases to find a fully stocked kitchen with a cupboard full of spices, needless to say the barbecue was not overlooked. Check in and out was simply and was taken care of by the local property management company. The only issue we had at times was in regards to the water pressure and water heater. During the day the water pressure would diminish and throughout our stay they were having an issue with the water heater.

Beautiful, comfortable and clean with great location.
This newly renovated house in the historic section of Granada suited our needs perfectly. Sunrise and sunset from the upstairs balcony looking across to Mombacho might have been my favorite part of Granada.
The beds were comfortable and linens, high quality. The kitchen was well outfitted for cooking basic meals and had more spices than most though they were mostly unlabeled to you have to have a good nose. The pans were great, not your standard scratched teflon you find in most rentals and I really appreciated that! The property management company that oversees it was easy to deal with and arranged airport transfer and for groceries and dinner to be waiting for us when we arrived at night. The driver they recommended, Francisco, was a fair amount more expensive than one in San Jorge recommended to us by another house owner which made me wonder if we had overpaid for the trips we used him for but we didn't shop around. Anyway, that is nothing to do with the house which was great. Just thought I'd mention it.
One other thing: it was not an issue for us but the stairs to the upstairs bedroom are very tall, i.e. the rise of each step is high. A person with bad knees would likely have trouble going down them. I found myself going sideways down or hopping down them a lot

Oasis hidden in the historic centre
My extended family (4 adults and a 2-year old) had a lovely 4-night stay here. The toddler enjoyed watching life go by outside the wrought iron gate. The place was spotless, with lovely high ceilings, dipping pool to cool us off, well equipped kitchen. Really appreciated the ongoing assistance the office provided from arranging for someone to cook a special meal to transportation.

Fantastic Vacation Rental
Casa Uzma is a beautiful home right in town and feels very safe and secure. Absolutely private, both the upstairs balcony and the pool area. GPS was very easy to work with scheduling activities and responsive to all requests. Amazing kitchen and amenities are available as well. The pictures in the post are great but the places exceeds even those expectations. We certainly plan to stay here again.

Oasis of charm, reflective of Granada
We were fortunate to find this charming colonial house that completely lived up to its promise. The house, balcony with view of Mombacho, pool and facilities all were enjoyed by all of us and provided a cool haven from the midday heat perfectly. It is very conveniently located and very quiet and peaceful. All our requests and concerns were addressed immediately by the owner and GPS. I would highly recommend it and am sure should we return to Granada we would book it again.

Love this place
Lot of attention to detail here and great location. Love the upstairs Granada overlook with view of Mombacho. Perfect place for my daughter and I to slow down. Pool is essential to cut the afternoon heat. Kitchen was beautiful with unique wood counters along with the kitchen table. Parked my car under a light right out front of house. We hope to come back.

Beautiful modern & traditional home in Granada
We had such a great time in Granada, and wish we would have spent more time here! We stayed for 3 nights. The house is SO beautiful, clean, and feels authentic to the character of the city. You can tell that Lubna and Nicolai paid close attention to details. The house is in a perfect location on a quiet street that is just a short walk to the main streets. Felt very safe and never worried about being out at night. I would 100% recommend this house to anyone visiting Granada.
