Once again Javier and Rosario proved themselves to be the most friendly and helpful people in the whole of Spain! Over the past few years we have stayed in nearly all of the properties owned by Javier and Rosario and all are of very high quality and in lovely locations, the views are fantastic with vistas over Nerja and the Med and mountains providing a stunning backdrop. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend any of the houses.

Lovely holiday in Dachita
We have stayed in Dachita Frigiliana in both 2010 and 2011, and we will be back in june 2012
We love to stay in the quiet facility of Dachita. Lovely pool on the roof terace with a wonderful view over the ocean and Nerja. We really enjoy the warm evenings on the balcony with the beautiful lights of Nerja.
Frigiliana nearby is a very nice village with all the lovely and charming houses.
We love to stay here, and we look forward to be back year after year.

What a fabulous place!
We're about to go back for a fourth time to this wonderful haven. Javier, Rosario and their children are discreet but very welcoming hosts. Quiet but, not too quiet. Small but, not too small. Just about right if you want a get away from it all holiday that's not too far from family oriented nightlife and great beaches.

A perfect place to relax
We like this place!My wife says it is like coming home!
Immaculate and very cosy!
Lovely pool up on the roof, lovely terrace both with stunning views of the mountains and the sea.
Within walking distance to Frigiliana or just 5 minutes by car to both there and also down to Nerja with shops, beaches etc..
Peaceful but not too peaceful, and close to the village and the life of Nerja.
Perfect - we will return!

It was best holiday in my life!
Dears Rosario and Javier!
We spent a wonderful holiday within 10 days in Dachita in March 2012. We were very-very sad to leave the Spain. Specially we still miss your beautiful house - Dachita. We liked this house so much! In the house was all the necessary for enjoyable life. Dachita is very homelike and cosiness house. It was exactly for us - for 4 friends. I can say, that it was my best holiday in my life. I am at home now, but may soul is in Spain still. We like Frigiliana so much. It is a very beautiful place. Rosario and Javier, you are very-very lovely and friendly. It was very nice to meet you. I hope to meet you again and spend the holiday in Dachita. Maybe next year... We are very happy for beautiful holiday! Thank you so much!

A comfortable cottage in a great location
Dachita is very well appointed with everything that you could want for a comfortable, happy vacation in the sun. The rooftop swimming pool is a surprise and the outdoor areas are well furnished with BBQ, just right for spending those long lazy evenings after a day in the sun. The two pretty bathrooms are attractively tiled and the bedrooms are comfortable. Javier and Rosario are wonderful, caring hosts who give great attention to detail.

Utterly charming place
We stayed here with our baby and her grand parents after another villa we had hired elsewhere fell through and we couldn't have been luckier. This is a real find for the price range, located on a hill side with beautiful uninterrupted views, quirky and cosy yet comfortable and spacious on the inside with a part shade part sun deck terrace and a rooftop pool that's big and deep enough to have a good soak and sunbathe.
We had a good explore of the surrounding area and Frigiliana is definitely one of the highlights just up the hill. Nerja a short drive away has great beaches and is relatively unspoiled for a resort town.
The villa is on a quite road and is a fantastic place to enjoy quiet private seclusion.
It's obvious that the owners take a real pride in what they do and that it's important to them that you enjoy your stay which if you have any sense you will. They have struck a great balance of being friendly whilst leaving you to your own devices and when we needed some help unrelated to the villa Javier went out of his way to help us, putting us in touch with a friend in the village that came to our aid. Great property, great location, great hospitality. I wouldn't have changed anything about my stay here and I hope to go back one day.

A wonderful well tended villa in a lovely location with great showers
I have stayed in two of Javier and Rosario's villas which are situated just outside the picturesque village of Frigiliana. Both of my stays have been excellent (I also stayed in La Reserva in June 12). Javier and Rosario go out of their way to make guests feel welcome and comfortable. Their villas are spotlessly clean and well equipped with free wifi, satelite TV, DVD player, CD player, hairdryer etc, etc. Their welcome pack is second to none: wine, beer, bread, fruit, milk, orange juice, pate, cold meat, chocolate mouse, pastries - I could go on! Dachita has two bedrooms & two bathrooms - a double bedroom on the main floor and a very sweet twin room with en suite shower room downstairs. All are equipped with dishwasher, washing machine, microwave/oven. Views are to die for. Dachita has a wonderful view over the mountains and the sea. It has a small but beautifully clean pool and all towels are provided. There are two terraces, a barbecue and outside dining facilities. There is a very quiet cul de sac road that runs behind. It isn't busy at all but if you want to really get away from it all and everyone then La Reserva is the place for you. Javier and Rosario are delightful - they leave you alone to relax and unwind but are there like a shot if you need anything at all. Really impressive. We will be back next year (to La Reserva).

Rundum wohlfühlen zwischen Bergen und Meer, Erholung vom Feinsten
Zuerst: uneingeschränkte Empfehlung - die Dachita von Javier und seiner Frau Rosario! Neun Tage optimale Erholung für vier erschöpfte Urlauber zwischen dem sehenswerten weißen Bergdorf Frigiliana, zu dem das Ferienhaus gehört, und dem größeren Touristenort Nerja am Meer. Bei der Ankunft war schon für alles gesorgt, was man für die kulinarische Erstausstattung benötigt, so dass der Urlaub sofort beginnen konnte. Die Eigentümer hatten schnell das Haus, die beiden Terrassen und den pool gezeigt, ausgesprochen freundlich und unaufdringlich. In den nächsten Tagen erwies sich die Dachita als optimal ausgestattet: wir vermissten kein einziges Küchenutensil (nicht einmal die Knoblauchpresse), für die kühlen Nächte waren Decken und alternative nordeuropäische Kissen da, gute Polster für die Sonnenliegen und -Stühle, Tabs für die Spülmaschine - einfach alles da! Tipps für Wanderungen in die umliegende Berglandschaft gab es bei Javier, sofortige Hilfe, wenn eine Frage auftauchte, ebenso. Kommunikation auf Englisch ohne Probleme, die Geräte und Lampen funktionierten alle.
Frigiliana ist zu Fuß in 30 Minuten erreichbar (viele sehr gute Restaurants!), Nerja mit dem Auto in 10 Minuten. Die Dachita liegt ruhig am Hang eines Flusstals, innerhalb einer kleinen Siedlung, fantastischer Blick durch Zypressen in die Berge und zum Meer hinunter. Die untere Terrasse ist teilweise mit einem Rohrdach beschattet, teilweise frei, Grillmöglichkeit in einer Ecke. Oben ist der pool, sehr sauber und groß genug. Im Haus ist alles freundlich eingerichtet, ein bisschen Kunst dabei, gemütlich und groß genug, dass sich vier Erwachsene wohl fühlen können.
Einzig und allein der Parkplatz neben dem Haus ist durch das Gefälle der engen Gasse nicht ganz einfach zu benutzen.
Wir würden jederzeit mit Vergnügen wieder dort wohnen und danken Javier und Rosario sehr für ihre Gastfreundschaft und ihre Basis für einen perfekten Urlaub!

Relaxing, beautiful and welcoming holiday home
We stayed for a week in April 203 at this lovely place. When we arrived we were greeted with wonderful hospitality and a beautiful house. Javier and Rosario have thought of everything and they have made Dachita a wonderful place to recharge, relax and enjoy the Spanish sunshine. The views from the terrace are amazing and it's only ten minutes drive to the beach. We would thoroughly recommend it for anyone wishing to book a relaxing break.
