Our stay could not have been better. The hosts have thought of everything and more. It was so convenient to have baby gear, beach gear, and all the kitchen essentials for family meals on the beautiful patio or inside. The house was very clean and comfortable, and communication was very easy. We can’t wait to come back!

My sister from Kansas was planning to be in my home area of LA for 3 weeks and we decided 1 of those weeks should be in San Diego/La Jolla. We found this gem and couldn't resist. One major criteria my sister had was an AC unit but she sacrificed that after seeing pics of this home. (We did suffer a bit without AC as temps were high the week we were on vacation). I had to work a few days during my stay but lucky for me, my WFH view was the beautiful patio. The bathrooms, kitchen and furniture were all clean making the stay even more appealing. Because of the no AC, we kept some of the windows open late night which we worried our talking/laughing would bother neighbors. However, we couldn't do anything about given we had to cool the house down. Some windows didn't have screens and after seeing a few bugs fly in, we had to keep those windows closed. Overall, a beautiful house and I would definitely rent this place again!

The property was exceptional, easy to get to shopping areas, beaches and restaurants. The house was spacious and had several different areas to relax. The house was very well organized and decorated. The owner of the house was so welcoming. I have never experienced this before with various rentals. She had all kinds of fruit, a bottle of wine and a huge chocolate bar to welcome us with. She definitely was the best part of our stay. She was available to us if we needed anything.

A perfect location, with a amazing neighborhood the house was clean and comfortable. A truly relaxing stay, we would definitely stay again.

This home is nicer than the pictures show. It is spacious and cozy, very clean and has all the comforts of a home away from home.

We had an excellent stay at Bird Rock. The house was so comfortable and very well stocked - the fruit basket and wine bottle were excellent, the checkin by the host was thoughtful. We really enjoyed the outdoor patio. And even the supplies for the beach was everything you could need. We would highly recommend others to stay here. Will return when back in SD!!

6 adults, 2 toddlers Plenty of room for different activities/relaxation Lovely spaces, and especially nice with piano for our family pianist! We all would stay again!

This property has more space than we had anticipated. Our two families had plenty of room. The patio and front yard were wonderful additions to the in house amenities. The host was so kind to provide all the necessities and a little more. Coffee and tea lovers would be happy here. The location was great, just a walk from the ocean and a short drive to the beach. We can’t wait to come back!

This was the perfect spot for an extended girls weekend and included dogs which were also welcome. Great house and fantastic patio that we enjoyed daily! Great restaurants to walk to and lovely neighborhood and ocean views for daily walks. Would definitely come back!

Loved our stay here with our pup. Was in a great location and had a great yard and patio area, would love to come back again in the future.
