The property was beautiful inside and out. We enjoyed the inside amenities as well as the beautiful patio and waterfall to relax at the end of the day. The location was great, nice coffee shop and restaurants nearby. We will definitely return.

The property description was accurate and we found complete instructions on how things worked so made the stay very smooth. We loved the property and the area. Owner provided excellent list of area restaurants also - much appreciated. Would stay at this listing again if in San Diego in the future. Highly recommend.

Designer finishes and tasteful artwork throughout from Himolla recliner chairs to the latest in Kitchen Aid and Samsung appliances. The teak deck with grill is replete with palms, fountains and comfy furniture was of great daily solace. From morning coffee ritual to afternoon cocktailing to dinners outdoors. Simply put, we didn’t want to leave and you won’t won’t either. 4 bicycles in the garage with locks, pumps and helmets await your impulse to ride to Balboa Park, Zoo or the plethora of beach locations. While there is a spacious garage for your car, pull it out into the driveway for afternoon ping pong tournaments. Huge washer/dryer and 2 bathrooms both with glorious showers powered by on-demand hot water. Walking distance to several wonderful restaurants, breweries and bars as well as clothing, vintage and thrift stores. #GetInHere

Our stay was absolutely perfect! The house was beautiful, just as described! Chip thought of everything! The location was perfect to great restaurants. We spent many mornings in the peaceful outdoor spaces. .

We had a wonderful stay! Chip’s home is beautifully appointed, filled with many thoughtful amenities, refreshingly very clean, and is in a convenient, central location. As well, we enjoyed efficient AC that cooled off the home quickly when we we returned, terrific showers and the bonus of a lovely, private outdoor space. Chip is so responsive and kind - a truly great host. We hope all his guests will take as good care of his home as he does; he’s created a special space that is far and away one of the nicest homes we’ve rented. Thank you for such a comfortable place to “come home to” while we explored San Diego! We hope to return!

Beautiful property well decorated and clean.

Absolutely first class and obviously designed to exacting standards. Clean, clean, clean. Great outdoor area to hang out. Nicely outfitted kitchen, just in case you want to cook, although, why would you. You can walk three blocks to amazing restaurants. You could also hunker down and not leave the house AND not feel cheated. Great experience.

Wow! It’s a true gem! It lived up to it’s 5 star rating! Great location, gorgeous designer furnishings(I wish I could have fit the Danish recliners in my suitcase. They were amazing!), well appointed kitchen and baths with luxurious linens, beautifully landscaped outdoor deck for lounging, ping table, bikes…Chip thought of everything! The neighborhood is walking distance to shopping and dining and Chip was very helpful with recommendations. Our favorite was strolling to Taco Stand for take out and then dining on our deck. We enjoyed our stay here immensely and look forward to our next visit!
