My wife and I and our two boys (aged 5 and 11) spent a week in New York City over the boys' spring break, and I feel so lucky to have found and stayed in this apartment for the whole trip. There was so much about it that we loved -
It's spacious - remarkably so, really, for a NYC apartment at such a reasonable price.
It's convenient - right in the middle of a pretty amazing part of NYC, close to several subway stations, close to a Whole Foods and surrounded by outstanding coffee, restaurants and bars.
It's a real home - tastefully and completely furnished and decorated, and stocked with legitimately usable housewares (i.e., not the crappy towels, sheets, pots and pans etc. you too often have to use when staying in a rental), as well as excellent wifi, a working printer, and (to the delight of my now-poker-playing son) piles of poker chips.
It's well managed - we were contacted before, during and after our stay by Jackie, the manager, who met us when we arrived to let us in, give us a tour/rundown and make sure we were all set in the apartment. We never had any problems or questions, but it was nice to know we could text someone nearby if we did.
It's beautiful - an immediately put to rest all my questions of "are these online photos a fair depiction of the apartment?" They absolutely are.
Recommended without hesitation, and I hope we get to stay there again soon!
