As a multi generational family of 7 adults and 3 children we had the pleasure of visiting this beautiful house in Missillac. The house is well equipped and the facilities inside and outside provided great fun for all the family. From flying down the zip wire to playing pool in the games room. Anne and Simon have thought of everything. The swimming pool proved invaluable for everyone. The welcome hamper full of local produce was much appreciated too. More than anything this wonderful house gave us all an opportunity to spend much needed time as a family making wonderful memories.

Fabulous house in lovely Missillac!
Anne and Simon have worked very hard to offer a five star home that caters for your every need the moment you cross the threshold! From grandparents o grandchildren ranging from 7 months to 13 years old, all were welcomed and felt very comfortable in their temporary French home for our fortngiht stay, The house is situatied on a quiet little road in the village of Missillac and it was a joy to stroll into the village centre for our morning pastries and baguettes! We always were greeted with a friendly smile and a 'Bonjour' from the locals. The house is well positioned within short driving distance to many beuatiful towns like Rochefort en Terre, La Roche Bernard and La Guerande.
The kids had an absolute ball in the playroom which is very well kitted out with a pool table, board games and toys for all ages! The kitchen too is very well equipped with everything you might need to prepare a meal. We loved the novelty of BBQ cooking and some of our best nights were sat around the patio table after dinner, chatting and playing cards. The house had oodles of space for all 12 of us. The garden is fabulously spacious, lots to entertain the kids and the swimming pool was utilised every single day by all! A real treat!
The house was spotlessly clean on arrival, complete with fresh bed linen and a few essentials in the fridge, which were greatly appreciated. The welcome pack waiting for us was a very generous touch! Anne couldn't have done more for us to provide us with information about our locality and even text us to alert us to road diversions outside the town. What a considerate host! We wouldn't hesitate to recommend this beautiful house to others and we sincerely hope to make a return journey ourselves some day! Merci Beaucoup Anne et Simon!

A large village house, very well equipped, with an even bigger garden that was ideal for children.
Within a short walk to the local village, this attractive house is extremely well-equipped for about ten guests. The garden is great for kids with a fenced-in pool, a zipwire in the trees at the end of the garden and a tree-house/climbing frame.
The delightful owners have thought of almost everything.
Within a half-hour's drive or less there is plenty to see and do - although beware jellyfish on the coast - not the owners' fault! and possibly due to heatwave the preceding week.
We thank Anne and Simon and hope to return.

A wonderful house for a large family in a beautiful part of Feance
We hired this house for an intergenerational family holiday. Thre was plenty of flexible space for three families and a great range of entertainment from the Pool and wide variety of garden games to the 'teenagers Den' with X Box and pool table and Mezannine bedroom up a steep ladder.
The house is situated an easy walk from the centre of the small town of Misilliac which has a choice of two bakeries, a small supermarket, fromargerie s Creperie and two bars.
Within short drives there are beaches, medieval towns and the city of Nantes.
Highly recommended to get away from it all.

Ideal holiday
Ten of us, including our 4 grandchildren all under 7, have just returned from an amazing holiday staying at Chez Anne & Simon. The accommodation, facilities and amenities it provides are outstanding. With an excellent week of weather, we all took full advantage of the pool, and our grandkids thoroughly enjoyed the other features in the garden, especially the slide, climbing frame, swings and, especially, the zip wire! The property is in an ideal location with lots of attractions to visit within a 30 mile drive. Something available for every interest whether it’s beaches, markets, walled towns or scenic walks. Highlight of our visit was to travel by train from Pontchateau to Nantes and take the whole family for a ride on the huge mechanical elephant! We used the Plymouth-Roscoff ferry crossing which gave us a comfortable 150 mile drive to the property, but I’m sure it’s easily accessible from other ports such as St. Malo and Cherbourg. The booking process was seamless and we have no hesitation in recommending others to use Chez Anne & Simon.

Perfect Family Fun
We stayed in Chez Anne et Simon in June. It was a great holiday allowing 13 of us to spend quality time as a family. The house is perfect for groups - there is plenty of communal space and it never feels crowded. Downstairs is all flat and so is the garden so perfect for our little girl who is 3 and likes to run!! We walked every day to the little town for fresh break and cakes and made the most of the BBQ at the house in the evening. We would definitely recommend and we will definitely be back!!

Another fantastic holiday here!
We have had another amazing holiday here this year. The house is wonderful, so well equipped and has absolutely everything you could need. We spent hours in the pool and playing sports in the garden. The surrounding area is beautiful (we went to La Gacilly and La Roche-Bernard). The village is so pretty and has plenty of shops for your essentials. We would 100% recommend a holiday here, and will definitely be back (again!). Thanks Anne and Simon!

Great house! Great setup! Great holiday!
Thanks Anne and Simon for letting us into your lovely house in the lovely little town of Missillac, with the house just being a 10 minute stroll to pick up the daily pastries. The house had everything we needed. 6 adults and 6 young kids all had a ball from the balmy pool, woodland zipwire and swings and slides. Oh and Wimbledon and the World Cup on the big TV helped us out too! Special thanks to Anne for her responsiveness, flexibility and help throughout the booking process. We hope to be back!

Amazing Holiday
What a place! Everything you need in the house, the garden, the surrounding area. Beautiful, friendly village. We were a party of 12 with young children and everything had been thought of. Can’t wait to come back! Thanks Anne & Simon.

Beautiful, well-equipped holiday home.
We've just had a brilliant week here. The house is situated within easy walking distance of the very pretty village of Missilac, complete with shops, restaurants, church and chateau. The locals were very friendly. The house is very spacious, and equipped with everything you could need for a comfortable stay. I was especially excited to find lots of mugs in the cupboard for those essential cups of tea! Most French gites are lacking in that department! The kids loved having their own games room and spent many happy hours in the pool and the garden. It was also great to have wifi and a decent sized tv for chilling out in the evenings. The barbecue was very convenient and easy to use and the kitchen was extremely well equipped. We enjoyed watching the resident woodpecker hopping around in the early evenings and even spotted a red squirrel scampering through the trees. It's a very peaceful location, yet within half an hours drive of many interesting places. A great base for exploring South Brittany. Thank you so much, Anne and Simon. X
