Adam was terrific with communication, super easy check and a beautiful spot! Great fireplace. Loved exploring the surrounding nature!

The cottage looks even better live than in the photos! It is a perfect cosy getaway that can be enjoyed even in the winter. Beautifully maintained and with plenty of things to do for both kids and adults. Adam is a great host who stayed in touch with us throughout the stay, was available for any questions and even provided advice on outdoor activities. Hoping to be back some time soon!

Cottage was like being at home. Owner provided everything you needed except for food (towels, linens, bedding, coffee, tea, hot chocolate, toiletries) -just like a hotel. Everything was well organized and easy to find. Wood burning stove was great at keeping the cottage warm on damp and colder days (wood, kindling, paper provided). Property was a perfect location to use as a home base to explore and enjoy the local area (trails, water falls, artisans) as well as nearby provincial parks for hiking and exploring. Owner was always just a text/email away -quick response. A great place to relax and get back to nature (no internet and cell signal low at times). Trails on property were pretty and easy to walk leading to the Magnatawan River. A definite must in the fall to enjoy the colours.

Disconnected from the world. The perfect getaway. 1.5 km walk to river was the highlight for the kids. They loved swimming in the river to the giant rock in the centre. We will definitely try to book here again!

Great house and property for a quiet and relaxing few days away. The house was clean and comfortable. It is surrounded by forest and very private. Nice fire pit with chairs and hammock outside and trails through the woods to the river. Kitchen and grill out back were great for cooking our meals. The small grocery in Burks Falls is close by and well stocked for any food needs. Perfect place for quiet and relaxation.

We enjoyed the hiking around Burk’s Falls and other provincial parks in the area! Cottage was clean and spacious and host was very helpful! We would recommend this place!

We really enjoyed our three nights here. The place is just like the pictures. It is bright, spacious, comfortable and well-equipped. We really enjoyed having the walking trails and being able to go swimming right on the property was a real highlight for the kids. Lovely to have your own fire pit (wood provided) and to make s'mores and look at the stars. Despite being slightly north of the official Muskoka boundary, easy access to Highway 11 puts many of the well-known towns of the area in easy reach (30-60 mins). The immediate area is charming too. Adam was a very helpful and friendly host and we had no problems of any kind. We'd definitely recommend this place. Can't wait to return!

This cottage was the perfect nature getaway to unplug from technology and embrace the nature surrounding you. The hiking trails were beautiful. The trail that lead to the river was beautiful. We really enjoyed this weekend trip even with the rainy weather. The cottage is exactly as described in the listing. Would recommend and stay again!
